Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

It was the exact same flight that dropped 200 in a short time frame.   The woman [redacted] is not a travel agent  but led me to believe that she was.  She also led me to believe there were very limited seats still available on the flight and if I didn't purchase immediately I would not be traveling with the group.  These were all false

To Whom It May Concern:

I am writing regarding the complaint from [redacted] related to our company, GoInspire.

[redacted] is traveling to...

[redacted] from [redacted] on July [redacted] 2015 as a participant in the [redacted] trip.  [redacted] contacted us for a ticket on March *, 2015.  We issued her ticket on March * 2015 - [redacted] flight [redacted] from [redacted] on July [redacted], returning July [redacted] to [redacted].  At the time that we issued her ticket $1531.36 was the cheapest fare available for these flights.

On Thursday March [redacted] we received this email from [redacted]:  “[redacted]
[redacted]”

[redacted] from our office checked the prices at that time, and they had actually gone up about $200 for those exact flights, it could be that [redacted] was looking at other [redacted] flights on those dates.

Subsequently the price for those flights did go down, but as we explained to [redacted] if we were to cancel and rebook her ticket at the lower price, the cancellation fee from the airline would exceed the savings for the lower priced ticket (in other words it would actually cost her money to cancel and rebook the new ticket).  In fact, [redacted] from our office did contact several other travel professionals to see if there were any means to allow [redacted] to take advantage of the drop in ticket price, but to no avail.

In general the price of airline tickets can fluctuate with time based on a variety of conditions in the market and we always do our best to find the lowest fare available at the time of purchase.

Attached please find emails documenting our communications with [redacted], one from [redacted], and the other from [redacted] her supervisor.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Review: This company led me to believe I was working with a travel agent when I was working with an assistant. The assistant informed me verbally and in writing that only 2 tickets were available to fly with my group and that the fare was the lowest available. I later learned that there were many more tickets available at a significant lower feeDesired Settlement: the difference in fare is 203.00
