Golas Appliance Service

Review: mr. golas came to our house on 4/9/13 to repair our bosch dishwasher , diagnosed the problem as our needing a new controller and charged $100 for the service call. we never heard back from him with repeated phone calls and finally he did respond by email on 4/24/13 to say that the part was on backorder. we waited and waited and continued to check in with no response. finally, 2 weeks ago, I called bosch and they said they had plenty of controllers for our dishwasher model and they gave me some names of reliable people to service the machine. I then had to pay for someone else to come out again to diagnose the problem (since they were not comfortable using someone else's evaluation) , to order the part and come back to install it. so, we finally have a functioning dishwasher again as of 6/15/13 after waiting since 4/9/13. perhaps mr. golas has extreme health problems or is deceased. if neither of these is the case, mr. golas is completely unreliable and unresponsive. in addition, we had to take the time to follow up on the situation over and over again --not to mention finding someone else to attend to the problem--and making ourselves available to another repairman's schedule. this has been very inconvenient, time consuming and expensive.Desired Settlement: we would like mr. golas to refund the charge for his service call since we received no benefit from his visit.
