received from the Revdex.com regarding Mr. [redacted] account at our office. This is unfortunate and I was surely surprised. We go above and beyond to be sure our patients fully understand our financial policy and in Mr. [redacted] case I did just that, personally. He initially presented to our office with chronic debilitating pain. Upon examination and x-rays we thought we might be able to help him but was not certain. As such, we proposed a short term plan of care to see if our system of care would help. At the end of that month Mr. [redacted] made very good progress and wanted to continue care. When the financial cost was reviewed the only concern was that he requested an extended payment plan. Because he was referred to us by another patient and was improving, we agreed to lengthen his payments from 4 payments into 10 monthly payments. Mr. [redacted] made 5 of the 10 payments and then asked if he could pay less than 1/2  of the monthly amount for 3 months because of financial difficulty with his daughter's college.Mr. [redacted] was a delightful patient and we enjoyed caring for him. He was always happy and good natured. Most importantly he continued to improve greatly.  Mr. [redacted] later decided to transfer care to another Chiropractor closer to him and that would also take his insurance. We assisted him in this process to make a smooth transition so that he could easily continue his care with the other doctor. All was well for 3 months, until Mr. [redacted] bank declined the next two monthly payments. When Mr. [redacted] finally returned our calls regarding the declined payments he explained that this reduced monthly payment amount would have to remain for the duration of his payments. He also explained that his financial situation had not improved. Because Mr. [redacted] payments were declined for 2 months and he continued to make less than 1/2 of the original monthly payment amount this would take 15 months to complete. He was thankful that we would accept this arrangement and returned to our office with new banking information and began the monthly payments. To my knowledge all was well.As such, I was shocked when I received this complaint from the Revdex.com. There has been no disagreements during this time. We have accepted the reduced payments as a courtesy agreeing  to help him with his financial situation. Also noted is that the last time he was at the office, Mr. [redacted] was pleasant  and with out any complaints whatsoever. I am unclear about what and how this process with the Revdex.com continues. I have called Mr. [redacted] for clarity and have not received a reply. Please advise.Sincerely,Dr.[redacted]

Review: I was treated in 2013 and 2014 by Dr. [redacted] and Dr. [redacted] for complications of Spinal Stenosis. I utilized medical my medical insurance coverage in addition to private pay. I signed a series of contracts that were not fully explained at the time. As a result I have paid as of April 2015 over 3,000 dollars and have not utilized their services in over one year. According to the contract,I am still obligated to pay them 2400.00 which will fulfill my obligation to them by November 2015. I realize it was my responsibility to thoroughly review the contracts prior to signing, however I feel I was exploited at a time when I was seeking relief for severe back pain. If the exorbitant cost would have been clearly explained I would not have obligated myself. I Will have paid over 5000 for their services.Desired Settlement: My financial obligation to Gold Coast Chiropractic to cease as of May 1st.
