As far as the door relocation there solution is ok but I will not pay anymore out of pocket costs to fix things that are not right .This still does not address the weak design snow load of21p.s.f that replaced a P.s.fAs I signed for. Thanks for your help in this matter

Response:June 20, Revdex.com *** *** *** *** *** ** ***RE: *** Dear Ms***: We received in the mail a complaint from you from Mr*** ***The main issue appears to be the requested snow load of 30lb psfI’m enclosing a copy of the wet stamped
engineering blueprints that were created by our structural engineer and were supplied to Mr***The engineer also verified the correct snow load directly with Mr***’s county to make sure it was exactly to their specificationsI have circled the snow load information at the top of the page where you can see if clearly says “30lb psf snow load.” The engineering was done correctlyMr*** submitted the blueprints to his county where he obtained a building permitHe has a valid permit and can proceed with this building at any timeThe other issue he listed is he would like one of the doors in a different locationAs previously stated to him a door can be easily moved to a different bay and a wet stamped letter issued from the engineer in case the county has an issue with seeing the door in a different locationIf there is cross bracing in the bay where Mr*** wishes to move the door that also is not a problemIt has to be on the same wall but the cross bracing in one bay can be moved to a different bayThis also would be stated in the wet stamped letter from the engineerWe have explained all of this to Mr*** several timesHe is either failing to understand or doesn’t want to understand that his engineering is correctThere is really nothing for us to correctWe have met all the terms and conditions of his contractWhile we will not force him to complete his contract if he chooses not to there is no valid justification for a refundThe deposit he paid was in fact to pay the engineering and distributor fees to the engineer and the parent companyThey were paid as agreedRespectfully submitted, *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** ** *** This was mailed to you on June 20thalong with a copy of the wet stamped blueprints showing the snow load of 30psfWhen a phone message was left that a complaint had been mailed to us we checked the post office box daily and no complaint arrived until you sent a second oneAnd then there were letters from you that arrived within a day of each otherClearly the post office "lost" the first letter for several days or mis-directed it as it didn't get to usUpon arrival of the second letter we immediately responded and mailed all this to youSince you are now saying you have closed the file as unanswered I'm wondering where the response went to? It was mailed that day and at the post office so I know it got thereDid you never received it or did this cross in the mail with your letter? We aren't trying to avoid answering this totally un-substantiated complaintIt is not a valid complaintWe believe it is a customer who thinks he can get the building cheaper elsewhere and is looking for a "loophole" to get his deposit back so he can buy something elseHowever, we have complied completely with his signed contract as specified and the parent company nor the structural engineer will not refund their fees just because someone decides later they can get it cheaper elsewhereAgain respectfully submitted, *** *** - Gold Coast Steel Buildings

If he wants the components that not as strong as we have engineered at this point we can do that Does he understand he is asking for a weaker building? No one said anything about extra custom engineering costs being necessary The door framing would be changed before the materials shipped so the door would be in the bay he wanted it changed to It would be just as he requested As this does not require a structural change just a different location for the door plans do not have to be re-drawnAnd the issue of the cross bracing is simpleOne bay per side of the building must be cross braced for the wind loading and seismic conditions; but it doesn't matter which bayJust cross brace a different bay The engineer just to make sure the county doesn't have an issue with the door in a different location just writes a wet stamped letter explaining the moveHe does not charge for this THIS IS NOT A PROBLEM Not sure why MrLee is making a non-existent issue into some big huge problem I am still not seeing a problem We are trying to give him a stronger building - not a weaker building!

I am rejecting this response because: I am not trying to get a cheaper building I just wanted what the contract states my contract states a30 Psf design roof snow load. Prints have a 21psf design sloped roof snow load which is not what I signed for. The 30psf they refer to is ground snow load not a design roof snow load.I am to old to clear snow off a roof as I stated to them when I requested the roof to be over built.enclosed is my contract and blueprints note under lined paragraphs
