Overcharged without my knowledge I took my BMW 745LI 2004 to that shop for a free check up on my transmission. I was adviced by the owner of the shop [redacted] to leave the car overnight for further diagnosis. He told me it will cost me $650 for a tear down on the transmission. I told me him I don't have that money to pay for a diagnosis therefore I need my car back so I can think about it. I am unemployed I cannot afford that. He insisted that I leave that car. He doesn't recommend me to keep driving it like thatHe said don't worry he will work with me on filling for a credit card to pay for the repair which he was supposed to charge me $3436.13 I applied for the credit card and it was declined. I told [redacted] I cannot do the job, I have never gave him authorization to do the work all this stuff was done over the phone. When I told him I want to come pick up the car so he can put the transmission back at its original state how I gave to him, that's when he said, he has to charge me extra to have the car reassemble $1272 which I have never signed a document and agreed for him to overcharge me. That is really bad business, rip off, overcharge customers without their consent. That place needs to be closed down they are bunch of thieves and liars work there. That man [redacted] is really good on looking at customers right on their face to deceive them. I do not recommend that place to anyone.Desired SettlementThey should not overcharge me for something I was not agreed on to pay. Which I told him I could not afford it, don't do the job. I want them to cut down on the price $650

My son [redacted] is being charged $3,834.69 and his car will be sold on May 8, 2014 to satisfy posserory lienMy son [redacted] car was towed to gold coast on 2/8/14 for a diagnostic and was advised by [redacted] that would not be charged for storage and towing. All verbal communication no signed contracts no repairs on said car, yet being charged $3,834.69. and now they want this sum or will sell off the car to satisfy a possessory lien by May 8, 2014Desired SettlementMy son would like his car back and to pay a reasonable fee if any. This is very unreasonable. He is a college student and just started a job while trying to pay his debtsBusiness Response Contact Name and Title: [redacted], ManagerContact Phone: XXXXXXXXXXContact Email: [redacted]@gctransmissions.comI believe this complaint was filed prior to us coming to an amicable agreement.
