I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter. The reason for rejecting this response is that they have not said that they have removed the notation from my credit report by both them and their reporting/collection agencyWhen they remove any notation of the bad report and provide me with proof of removal I will accept the responseAs I stated and they have confirmed the claim was paid be insuranceIt is not my fault that they billed the wrong insurance in the first placeAnd as soon as they contacted me they were given the right insurance which they would have been given at the time of service if they had bothered to confirm insurance coverage instead of billed a previous insurance company I use to have People do not always stay with the same insurance company their entire lifeThey should have asked

In 2010 I became very very ill to the point that 911 needed to be called,I was suffering from asthma and it had became worse,so after the local fire dept. where I live decided they has enough of me on that cold March morning , as they were thinking I must be having a major anxiety attack they patted me on the shoulder and told me to "hang in there" because we have to get breakfast started for the crew,at that moment I was looking at the possibility that I am going to die,it was that bad, you see 911 assumed that the ambulance had arrived when my friend told 911 that they were here ! sadly it was a uhaul truck with cab lights.now I am trying to get in my small pickup but cannot figure out why my feet are so heavy as I desperately tried to breath, 911 refused to answer the phone and it is 4:45 in the morning. After about 45 minutes we finally see the Gold Cross ambulance arrive in the middle of the street no lights no siren. As I am standing around trying to breath along with this horrible pressure and pain in the middle of my chest I am thinking help is finally here, but no my personnel Hell has just begun ! first the Gold Cross driver refused to even acknowledge that I am outside his door ,I guess his book was more important than me that,s for sure, as I could barely walk and the thoughts of my eminent death are going thru my mind but the tears in my eyes reassured me that maybe some one will help me ,but no not only no but Hell no! Finally the Gold Cross emt opened up the back door and told me " get in " at this point I thought what kind of joke is this ? again he told me to "get in " I tried the best I could to tell him that I can,t breath, chest hurts' so I tried again but this time I slipped on the bumper and gashed open my knee 2 inches still he would not help me ! on my 4th attempt I made it and I laid down where he strapped me in and put on the O2 mask, at this point he started berating me and kept telling me to just "calm down" we are not going anywhere until you "calm down" my throat was extremely dry so I had a water bottle with me which when I went to take a sip this Gold Cross emt ripped the bottle from my hand and threw it out the back door ! still after 20 minutes they had not started to take me to the hospital instead this EMT asks me which hospital do you want to go to over and over and over,at this point I know I am going to die in the back of an ambulance at this point he had yet to check my vitals but in his eyes I am just having an anxiety attack I just need to "calm" ! after what seemed to be 45 minutes we get on our way and I am preparing my self of the real possibility that I am going to die in the back of an Gold Cross ambulance. As they leave with me I thought it was funny that they did not put the emergency lights on and they were in no hurry. we went 2 blocks where they stopped for the stop sign and the oncoming traffic. after that you go 2 blocks to a major intersection where a set of traffic lights happened to be red .so now they have to wait for the light to change,as they made the turn I blacked out and along the way I must have been combative,I have no memory and I was blacked out of my vision but I guess that happens when you get real close to death, well when I came too about 2 miles down the road right before a bridge ,come to find out they had pulled off the side of the road where upon this EMT proceeded to degrade me and call me names and curse me out. I will never forget how angry he looked as he told me he was sick of my [removed] and we had to wait here until the other ambulance arrived with the medication to "shut me up!" well thank God the other ambulance came in a hurry where upon he put the iV me [still had not checked vitals at this ] as he started to inject me he got right in my face and said " I have had with you ,you piece of [removed] this will shut you up" the last thing I remembered was the faint glow of the morning Sun. as I was losing conscious I prayed for the Angels to watch over me as I am about to pass away,I said my final silent goodbye to my 2 beautiful daughters told them I loved them and then I passed out. At this point I think they must have really neglected me as they hit the lights right before I went under it must have really surprised that EMT when he found out he could not get the breathing tube down my throat but I guess that happens when you are assumed to be having an anxiety attack right? well after 9 days in a coma the doctors kept coming in telling me how lucky I was to be alive, you see once they got me to the hospital the E.R. doctor had to bag breath for me for an hour because I would have passed away on the way to ICU ,you know bad them anxiety attacks are right? I guess for 4 days I had less than a 10% chance of survival as I found out I has viral pneumonia ,respiratory failure, liver failure and I wa shaving a heart attack also.I spent 24 days in the hospital and I was down to 140 lbs and I had to learn how to walk again as I was too weak to stand up by myself.the doctors told me that less than 10% of the people in the world survive what I went thru. I will never trust Gold Cross ambulance service again that is for sure and the best part is that I live less than a mile from both the ambulance and fire dept. I guess in the long run it was my fault for calling these jokers you see the fire dept. reported alcohol on my breath and everyone thought I had been drinking and was having anxiety issues, you see when I awoke very ill that morning I was coughing very badly and I used some non-alcohol cough syrup no codeine nothing just plain cough syrup, So I now plan at my age of 69 to have someone else get me to the E.R. instead of relying on Gold Cross ambulance service where I live,I found them to be rude, uncaring, unprofessional and just plain cold hearted, I now suffer from post ICU trauma along with my ptsd who knows from experience that sometimes you are better off getting other help than relying on my local Gold Cross ambulance service, what a cruel joke they pulled on me !

Good morning, You requested a follow up with the phone call I had with you last week. I did follow up with our A/R folks.  The account did get paid from the other insurance already back in 2010. I spoke with our collection agency and they had informed TransUnion the account was...

paid in full, so they don’t know why this is still sitting in her credit report.

Heaven help the person who uses Gold Cross ambulance. I was a patient who was in the 20,000 a yr. income range. one month after their service I lost my job. Unemployment put me in the $850.00 month range. St. Elizabeth's and Akron"s children's hospitals have an assistance program in paying their bills. Gold Cross, even after my insurance paid them $800.00 towards the bill, too bad, no assistance, it will take me yrs. to pay that bill. Thank-you ever so much St. Elizabeth and Akron's children's hospitals. Get another ride!

Review: I was taken to the hospital by this business and had insurance. The billing office did not bill the right insurance company the $832.00 so were not paid. Instead of contacting me they sent the bill to Valley Credit collection agency. I got notice from Valley Credit of the bill and called Gold Cross right away and told them they were billing the wrong insurance company for the service. They never asked for an insurance card and could have gotten the right company from the hospital or called me and I would have given them the right company and claim number. But they just put it to collections. Mind you as soon as they filed the claim with the right insurance they were paid in full by the insurance. I recently checked my credit report and notice the collection in it for this bill apparently from 2009 for the $832.00. Which should have never been put to collections as I had insurance that would cover it and had they contacted me I would have been able to give then the right name and policy number with no need for collection.Desired Settlement: I want all notations regarding their bill removed from my credit report including any notations made by valley credit. I am requesting proof of removal.
