I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
The response from the company is inaccurate and not at all what happenedI was not in fact the last person who spoke to the company, it was my partnerIn terms of the issue with times that they claim, this is also falseWe waited several times for the contractors to show up on different days and they did notWe had to coordinate with the owner of the building to get let in to the roof and that is the only restriction we hadGold Duct knew this from the beginning9AM was never something that was an issue, nor did they ask us if they could come at that timeIn fact, we tried to get them to come on Mondays several times, but the answer we got was 'our workers are out drinking the night before so they won't show up on time'This is why we always set it for Tuesday or other daysWe were more than flexible to work with Gold Duct, but they completely mismanaged the situation and did NOT perform the job correctlyWe are still trying to rectify the faulty work they did and would like to receive a refund.[Your Answer Here]

My employee [redacted] spoke with the client name above and [redacted] told him that she had a issue and it needed to be repair. [redacted] told [redacted] that he will sent one to repair the issue on the day that she received us. [redacted] told [redacted] that we can come on a Tuesday at 9:00 am. [redacted] told...

[redacted] that we can go to repair the issue on Tuesday but not a 9:00 but at 10 am. [redacted] got very upset. I sent to for two weeks on a tuesday some to fix the issue and [redacted] said that not at 10 am to come at 9 am and did not accepted my employee to fix the issue. I called [redacted] a few time and she told me to forget the issue and not to come again that she does not need our services any more. I try to fix the issue but she did not let us in her business.

it was to be connected from the existing boiler and two hot water heaters . It would run from the boiler room to the outside wall and up to the roof . He asked for a large sum for a down payment because of the cost of the ducts .

He asked me to give him a week so he can order the parts . After

making numerous calls to him , he sent a unskilled employee

to make a temporary connection from the boiler room to the outside wall . And again he ask me to be patient because,he order the wrong supplies for this job and he needed to reorder .

Now he Ignores my phone calls . But when I text him . He responds, Thank you for your patient and I will have someone out there on Friday or any other day he makes up. Its been three months now and nothing is getting done .Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund .

Review: We hired Gold Duct Cleaning to diagnose and solve a problem with our restaurant ventilation fan causing vibrations and noise for the other tenant (landlord) in the building we operate from. Gold Duct installed the fan and motor system originally, so we hired them again to fix the current problem - which had been happening since they did the original installation. Because of concern that their solution would not necessarily work, they offered us a 50% down, 50% in 30 days payment plan and assured us they would come back within the 30 days if the problem was not amended. We paid the deposit and agreed. The day after they 'fixed' the problem (which they claim was reducing the motor speed, changing the motor belt, adding brakes, and insulating the fan housing) the vibration and noise were worse. We called Gold Duct and asked them to come back to check it out, as outlined in our agreement. On 10/*/14, the [redacted] was supposed to show up by 2pm to take a look, and never did. At 5:30, I received a message saying he would come the following day. I asked for a firm window of time, and the reply was 'Sorry, I can't I have a busy day'. The next day, I wrote again, to see when he would get there, and never received a response. He did not show up. At this point I asked my partner to call and speak to them. He was met with anger from the [redacted], saying 'he was doing us a favor' by doing the job. At this point we told them we didn't want to work with them anymore, and we would expect a refund on our deposit. They denied the request, and we have not heard from anyone at the company since. We're still stuck with a worse problem than we had to begin with, and have to start the process over again with another company. This has caused dozens of hours to be lost, more money to be spent, and no solution.Desired Settlement: We would like a refund of 871.04 - the amount paid to Gold Duct for their repair to date. Since the problem was worsened by their diagnosis we feel this is fair, and will not pay any more to the company. We are not counting loss of time or extra money that will need to be spent to solve the original problem, we simply want a refund and to terminate any relationship with Gold Duct from this point on.
