I was in Maui and was walking around shopping after going on a boat tripI saw the jewelery store and they looked like they had a decent selectionThe sales person was very nice and helped me with pricing on men's ringsI told her what I was looking for and she found what was supposed to be Australian black Opal ringIt was not my size and I did not have enough time to get it sized thereI get back from vacation and bring it to my jeweler who I have been to for many yearsHe tells me that it is man made Opal and that he cannot size it to the size I want due to how the ring was mad with less gold in the bandSo now I am stuck with a man made Opal ring that cannot be sizedThat is $that I will not see again
In October I had purchased an Opal ringI did not have time to have it sized there, so I brought it home and brought it to my jeweler whom stated that it could not be sized I called gold and island and they told me that all their rings could be sized up to sizesI shipped them my ring and two weeks later I received my ring sizedThey were vary helpful even though I'm on the other side of the countryThe manager is very kind with great customer service
