Following is the email I sent to customer service/business managers at Goldkey LangleyI have just received a phone call from one of the service managers, Lindsay, stating that there's nothing they can do differently and went on-and-onShe was predisposed with the rental/loaner car part but I just wanted to know why it would take a full week to book in and hook my car up to the diagnostic machine quicklyOr even stop in after work and wait my turnHer reply over and over was that they don't have technicians waiting around for appointmentsWow....and I always thought that's what appointments were for......double, even triple, book them thenEnjoy
This morning on my way to work, my Jetta displayed a flashing coil symbol along with the engine lightI pulled over, turned the car off, restarted and still had the same resultAs I must get to work to make a living, I proceeded but noticed I had lost some power and accelerationThis seems like an issue not to be ignored
Upon arriving at work, I Googled the issue and found that I must bring the Jetta in to be diagnosedNo problem I thought
I called and spoke with Evelyn and described the issueShe said that there was no room today and the next available time I could bring it in would be next MondayUmmmmm......that's a week away.....today is Tuesday morningShe was insistent that I could not get in before that so I exclaimed that I cannot continue to drive my car back and forth to work for a week in this conditionShe then stated that I could rent a car and it wouldn't cost me anything if the issue was covered by warranty but if not, I was responsible for paymentSorry, but WTH?!!! Evelyn's tone changed as well as my own and then she suggested that I drop the car off for the day and get shuttled to work within kmsOkay, well I guess I have no choice seeing I cannot book to come in for a week
I understand that your shop is busy, I get that......but seriously.....you cannot find an hour or so to hook someone's car up to a diagnostic machine within a weekC'mon......I paid your dealership almost $50,for this car and extended warrantyI am super busy in my life (much like your shop) and I don't have time to lose my car for a day or wait for shuttles here and there
I just want you to know how disappointed I am with the service I have received over the years from Goldkey LangleyWhen I first had to bring my Jetta into you, there was an extremely arrogant young man working named ChrisI was not the only customer to comment on his natureSince that time, I still have not felt welcomed by the Goldkey Langley Service Dep't as there's always long waits and the only solution is "drop your car off"

*** *** Today I had a horrific experience at this dealership (Langley GoldKey VW)The service provider was rude, accused me of lying, and billed me for warranty repairs on my ***I only went to them because I was in the area and an hour away from my dealership
I'm giving them stars instead of because the two other people I interacted with there seemed reasonableIf you go there beware *** I've never had a worse customer service experience

*** *** They did not fully repair my icbc claim and, when I took the car back to them, they tried to make it seem like it was my faultI was in an accident with the front of my ***I picked up the car from the body shop manager Miguel on a SaturdayWhen I received the car, he did not give me a professional walk around but just gave me the keys and said that they guarantee their repairs for yearsLater on that night I noticed that both headlights were not workingThey are closed on Sunday, so on Monday I called and spoke to a rep named Dennis and he said that it wouldn't be a problem just bring the car back, they would give me a courtesy car and look at itI had to drop it off the following weekend because I work during the week
This morning, on my way to work in the courtesy car, I received a call from Miguel stating that he thinks that both headlight bulbs burned out after I received the car from them***
