I have attached the original handwritten proposal, as well as the official computer printed versionBoth are signed, but they are
different dates
I believe *** *** is referencing his handwritten proposal from the night he purchased the new boiler (3/20/13).
When our technicians came to install the new boiler we discovered that his steel chimney was not large enough to support the higher capacity boiler and we presented our findings to him immediately
We made a new proposal with the updated specifications, went over it, and *** *** signed the updated (3/21/13) proposal
Because this happened over a year ago, we are both relying on our memories and I can understand the confusion.
We received no complaints about the performance, or phone calls regarding this until we came out for a complimentary maintenance over a year later when *** *** inquired about a price difference / refund
Because our cost difference between a 125,and a 150,is less than $40.00, our sale price is the same for those units
We did raise the $dollar gift certificate to $at the time of the install - giving him an additional $discount

Given that, your money will be fully refunded for the repair that was done on March 24th.

Owner came to my house was not able to diagnose problem until his tech arrived about 20 minutes later. tech found problem with bad zone valve motor. Owner then quoted new valve motor at $335. I told him I am a contractor and his price was ridiculous, cost aorox $74.00 at any supply house. I told him I was willing to pay up to $150.00 for the part & he declined. I dismissed him paid the service charge of $99 + tax. Purchased and installed valve motor myself total cost $54.00. I have no problem paying a reasonable amount for service and parts but they are way out of line.
