Contrary to what the complainant believes, Gold Medal's Service Manager did visit the site of the alleged incident and noted the observations as indicated in Gold Medal's earlier response Based upon personal observations, in addition to the earlier stated reasons, there is no basis for reasonable belief that Gold Medal caused any damaged to the vehicle in question Gold Medal always makes restitution on claims that there exists a reasonable belief or probability that it cause the damage However, Gold Medal does not belief that to be the case here

Gold Medal's install manager provided a temporary repair to the air conditioning system this weekend while ordering a replacement part the customer has been called to schedule the permanent repair However, we had to leave a message

Our Accounting department has been reaching out to this customer to resolve

I am rejecting this response because:
It wasn't two different visit one tech snaked and the other ran the camera and I must now add they talked outside for about minutes before resuming work I had to call out to them "did you forget about me" my feeling continues to be if you do any kind of work and you are a repeatable company you advise the customer of anything that my void a warrantee BEFORE the work begins show the customer has the option to proceed or not I was not given this option what was done to me I feel was unethical and this company does not warrant a A rating from Revdex.com

I am rejecting this response because: I have attached the communication with Barry M clearly cancelling the work within one hour of talking to Barry M the day before the crew came out to work on the property So for Gold Medal to say I cost them considerable expense, I believe they need to look to MrM for that expense since he did not carry through on his end and why MrM ordered a crew to come out to work when he received notification hours before the work was to begin. Gold Medal needs to improve their skills, clearly,

I am rejecting this response because:The situation describe was not accurate I never slammed the door in anyone's face nor did I hang up on the Directors I never mentioned a french drain and do not even know what this is I did not call back after hours and get an answering service I called back after I a picture of a Gold Medal employee clearing out the pipe that I wanted cleared When I called back the person said they absolutely did that and did not know why the person said they did not An appointment was made and no one showed up All I asked was for one of the two owners to call me back so I could let them know what happened It is obvious to me that they did not want to do the job and if that was the case they should not have made an appointment or at least called to cancel it That never happened Also, I believe they are hiding this from the owners of the company or else a phone call would have taken place

Mr. *** has been a Gold Medal customer since While price has always been an issue with Mr. ***, we have never had an issue such as this time In all the time that Mr*** has used Gold Medal, Gold Medal has used "Flat Rate" pricing - meaning that our
established price book prices work by the job, not through parts and labor We advise customers upfront as to the cost and get prior authorization before starting work and acceptance when completed.ceThe work was performed at a rental property of his When we went there on May for a non-operating unit, he was informed that based upon the factors present - no Freon which indicated at a minimum a leak and a transformer issue, that it was likely that a replacement was in order as opposed to spending repair dollars on the unit that may not make sense after all Mr*** preferred to repair by adding Freon As he was explained, adding Freon does not in and of itself repair a leak The Dye Stick was added to try to track the leak The leak apparently was not in an accessible areaThe next logical step was to replace the condensing coil This was a recommended repair on the initial visit, but declined by Mr*** on May We were called back to Mr***'s rental property on June and found the unit again not operating properly On June 16, we replaced the condensor coil, replaced all the Freon and performed minor duct work (transition piece) Gold Medal's Director of Operations, Joe T spoke with Mr*** prior to performing the work Mr*** was not pleased with having to add more money to an old AC system, but he needed to appease his tenant With the $credit that MrT provided to Mr***, he seemed satisfied Gold Medal made room in an over crowed schedule to appease Mr*** with the installation of the new condensor coil on June The work performed on June comes with a year warranty.When all was said and done on the June 16, we were of the understanding that the customer was very satisfied with the overall service Our technician was assigned to this customer's job on May for approxhours and on June for more than hours.I have attached the May and June Invoices The May invoice shows a breakdown of the various tasks performed for this customer I have also attached a copy of the installation invoice for June 16.Gold Medal believes that it treated this customer very fairly and was very accommodating.Thank you

I am rejecting this response because:
Statement about "boulders to be used as part of landscaping" is completely out of touch with realityFor the same measure, they could leave boulders on my porch or in the kitchen and say that this is a landscaping.They were just rushing home and not willing to clean all the mess they left.I will mark the second boulder (which is almost on the pathway to my house and my baby already tripped over it few times - so much for "landscaping") and I will send the photo, if I will know where to send it.I attached to this message photo of the remaining stone and pile of dirt that was left.Unfortunately, I do not have neither email address nor name of the Underground Manager, so it is not clear where to send the photo.Aside of the boulders, mound of small stones and clay was left over my propertyI engaged external contractor to remove them - they estimated cubic yards of this material to be removed and they were very surprised that plumbing company left all that mess after completion of workIt will cost me substantial money to remove all this dirt

Gold Medal stands by the accuracy of the initial response and will continue to try to appease this customer as to the siding issueAs to the rebate issue - I personally spoke with Mr*** and seemed to have reached an amicable agreement on the numbers involved Gold Medal provided $3,off the book price in total between discount, coupons, incentives and 3rd party rebates There is no more - period No mistakes were made and no malicious intent on the part of Gold Medal took place.As to the siding issue, only a small piece was painted to match the existing siding This was a very reasonably resolution However, painting would not have been necessary if the ***s had permitted a small piece of siding to be taken from a hidden location, but they refused this reasonable resolution as well All the Gold Medal requests is that the ***s proceed in a fair and reasonable manner as Gold Medal will go above and beyond to make them satisfied.Thank you

I am rejecting this response because: this company never came to our home or Inspected the vehicle that was hitThe driver backed up from the driveway across from ours twice and parked adjacent to the customer receiving service near our drivewayThe driver of the vehicle will obviously deny the incident so as to keep their job

Gold Medal rejects the counter-response and stands by its original reply The Client canceled after mobilization on the site which led to significant significant expenses and loss revenue from missed opportunities Gold Medal will not, at this time, seek recovery of such costs.At this point in time, Gold Medal has no more to offer on this matter.Thank you

Gold Medal stands by its initial response We apologize if this customer feels let down in some way However, since this customer did not purchase any additional services, there isn't much more to do for this customer Gold Medal visits over 20,homes a year and overall has a very small percentage of complaints about its products, services and prices We obviously cannot seem to meet this customer's expectations - we are truly sorry that we have fallen short in this regard we believe that it is best that we simply part ways at this point

Complaint: [redacted]Company did not provide a breakdown of labor and materials as required under NJ Consumer Affairs, although at first I was told that would be provided after I requested it, I believe that work that was not necessary was done to inflate the bill and was totally taken advantage of.  Yes, sales tax was returned more than a week after they were called out on it, was told it must just be an oversight.  I wonder how many people are being charged for sales tax and do not have to pay as part of capital improvements.This company states 100% satisfaction guaranteed, can't prove it by me.  A total rip-off company.Regards,[redacted]
