be welded together  addition customer was given a price for that, in the multi - diamond ring need three diamonds and needed to be priced. In the meantime, I had a cancer operation, the three diamonds needed had to be matched to the existing stones. This took some extra time to find and order. Upon further examination of the ring it needed to be rebuilt.· The setting mound for seven diamonds and to be rebuilt and reproned or the other diamonds would be falling out. This is why the three diamonds had fallen out in the first place . The ring was extremely worn out. The other ring had to sized up threesizes and to be welded together one part of the top loop hadto removed to fit thethen were then cleaned and polished and finished.Rebuild and prongs sevenwith reproning 7x4= 28 prongs@ $7 .00 each would bechargedcustomer refused toaccept product saying was to much and wanted rings back as theywere told that it wasimpossible to undo to original condition . Ringswere dismantledunwedded 'two ringsand removed three diamonds and only three . whencustomer leftwith rings there wereonly three missing? I did not charge for the sizing orrepairs to the setingand prongs . There were no charges to the customer at all .This Business hasbeen a family operation since 1945 and inthis location fortwenty-fiveyears, repairing, jewelry, watches, and clocks .Truly sorry for Ms [redacted] misunderstand on thismatter .

Re: [redacted] vs. Gold N Times I received your letterwith Business Response and after reviewing their response I wanted to let youknow that this matter has NOT been resolved. The Business noted above providedme with a cost to fix what needed on 2 pieces of my Jewelry withoutAuthorization he went ahead and re gutted the ring to his satisfaction not thecustomers. The breakdown of his fees was not what Gold N Times and I agreed onwhen I originally took my rings in there - this is why I asked for an estimate.I should have been advised before destroying the rings and making them of novalue now before he did any and all additional work. After several weeks ofcalling and getting excuse after excuse I advised him I was picking my Jewelryup and he had not done anything to them but size one ring ( as photos show thering was not even properly size) in his statement he indicated it needed to besize 3 size:... This is not correct \ have provided your office with theinformation I obtained from Gold N Times ( [redacted]) at time of estimate for costof repairs. The one ring only needed to be sized that is it. Not too mentiongiving a customer a price of $ 90.00- $ 110.00 total if soldering was to bedone and jumping this price to $ 432.00 in my opinion should have beendiscussed prior to doing any rebuilding as he notes in his response. Also[redacted] was given the opportunity to look at the jewelry evaluate them anddetermine what needed to be done and they were not in poor condition I have alsoprovided the before and the after photos.. The 2nd ring was in great conditionnever worn because it needed to be sized up just a little to be exact. not itcan not be worn at all as it was destroyed. The first ring ( photo wasprovided) I dropped that ring off with 3 diamonds missing after carefullylooking over the jewelry he gave me a price - honoring that price in my opinionwould have been more businesslike than to up rate it by 3 X times more thanoriginally discussed and never was there any conversation of needing additionalmoney not too mention [redacted] at Gold N Times was to place them back to theiroriginal settings but in turn I received them back with no value now. The 1string was only missing 3 diamond chips when originally dropped off when returnedto me it was missing 4 diamond chips ( [redacted] has failed to give me the diamondback on this as well) . This matter has not been resolved .. I understand henotes that he has been in business for Quite sometime but I am a customer and Ihave a right to protect my valuables and Gold NTimes not only destroyed myJewelry but also manipulated me, insulted me and tried to charge me 3 X timesmore than what was originally stated. I find it unethical and immoral for anybusiness to run a business in this manner.

I brought 2 rings in to be fixed. one missing 3 stones and the other needed to be sized up after over 7 weeks - was promised it would be done in 1 week -- I was told one price ( when my rings were dropped off ) only to be charged 4 times that price. not accepting this outrageous and un authorized price I requested my rings to be restored to original settings - only to receive my rings back -- one ring now missing 4 stones ( only went in with 3 missing) and second ring ( had nothing wrong with it only needed a size up ) only to receive it back with one side of ring cut off and the ring itself was shaped oval not circle like it was brought in. when I addressed it his exact words were " it is what it is " there was nothing he could do about 2nd ring and the 1st ring he said he had the stone it must have fallen out?? but when I originally saw the ring when he tried to overcharge me it was there - ?? he said he would give me the diamond back .. no thanks he made a comment to me when I declined being over charge the first time and requested it be restored to its original settings " ill do it and when I get done with it , it wont even look like rings .. Totally upset. I feel personally like I was taken advantage of and will not ever allow this to happen again. Gold N Times should be responsible for replacing the diamond chip in my ring as there are now 4 stones missing and second ring needs to be shaped circle rather than in an oval shape and restored to its original settings or make an offer for me to go elsewhere and have it repaired at their cost for the damage that has been done.Desired Settlement: Gold N Times should be responsible for replacing the diamond chip in my ring as there are now 4 stones missing and second ring needs to be shaped circle rather than in an oval shape and restored to its original settings or make an offer for me to go elsewhere and have it repaired at their cost for the damage that has been done.
