SCAM ALERT - BUYERS BEWARE!!!
I spoke to Mike at length before ordering as I had concerns about some of the negative feedback on Gold Pro and Mike assured me that my order would be handled promptly.

Payment was made on 5/12/22. Received "paid" statement on invoice by Gold Pro on 5/13/22. Invoice states "Our standard shipping time is 7-10 business days from when your funds are deposited into our account and cleared to use before delivering your products". Since payment was made by wire transfer there was no wait time for deposit to be cleared.

It has now been 20 business days and my order has not been shipped. My calls are not being returned and are now being routed to an answering service. My email queries are not being answered. The fact that I am being ignored is quite concerning.

Update

Here is the verbatim email discussion between Mike and myself since my initial post. He made several promises in this email and has broken every one of them. I will be contacting local authorities in Vidor, TX tomorrow to alert them of the scam.

One more note: I received a call from another customer whose invoice was dated the same day as mine. That customer is also having same issues (product not sent and not returning calls). This person actually broke down crying on the call because they are in fear of losing their complete lifetime savings which was sent to GoldPro for gold/silver investment.

Please disregard my previous comments. Mike and I had a miscommunication about the tracking numbers. The order was shipped by USPS and I had checked the tracking numbers with UPS and FedEx. The shipment is on the way.

Although the shipment was delayed, Mike has explained to me the reasons for the delay for which I find reasons to be acceptable. I have complete confidence in GoldPro and will purchase again.

All lies, always tomorrow, and no tracking number?
Purchased old stock gold and silver Buffalos for $24300, in same state of Texas. Same answers after two weeks: "Tomorrow with no tracking numbers?" No response in vallital market, with 2 or 3 calls a day for a tracking number and still waiting! Chris Deprez 469-360-4200

I called *** on his cell and made a deal to purchase 3 monster boxes of silver American Eagles on 7/22/20 for $12,890 x 3 = $38,670. *** told me he "locked in" the price. I called him multiple times over the next seven (7) days but *** Never picked up the phone even though I always left urgent messages for him to call me back ASAP. *** did answer one time and said he was busy and would call me right back - but he NEVER did. I called his business phone and each time I got a message service that took my message to *** but *** NEVER called me back.
GoldPro LLC's business location at *** N. *** St., Beaumont, Texas was previously occupied by Big Thicket Coin and Bullion but it looks like that related business went out of business with multiple serious complaints about delivery of coins purchased and paid for by other customers. I also found multiple complaints about Gold Pro LLC concerning delivery and other multiple problems with GoldPro LLC.
I asked *** if I could bring him the cash to his store and pick up the coins at the same time and *** seemed hesitant and said he would send me the coins and that I could then afterwards wire the money to him. *** NEVER sent me the coins that we had made a deal for. It was upsetting to me that I wasted my time making more than 50 calls to ***. It was concerning to me that *** never followed through on his promises to me. In my opinion the business of GoldPro LLC is a very questionable and untrustworthy company.

I made a deal with *** of GoldPro, LLC to buy 3 monster boxes of 500 silver American Eagles for $12,890 each for a total of $38,670. Mr. told me he "Locked -In" the price for me. Mr. told me he had the 3 boxes in stock. I wanted to come to his store and pay cash and pick up the coins but Mr. said he preferred to send the coins and I could then send him the wire for $38,670. I agreed. BUT, the coins were never shipped or received!! After multiple phone calls I finally got a hold of Mr. who then said he would deliver the coins to my house and pick up the cash. I agreed. Mr. NEVER came to my house. After another 30-40 phone calls I never got any return call from Mr. and he never responded to me and never delivered the silver we made a deal for. I think the price of silver went up and then Mr, *** decided NOT to honer the Locked-In price he gave me. Not a dependable company. I then found out his previous company at the same address Big Thicket went out of business with multiple complaint of non-delivery of items paid for. I later found out GoldPro LLC had a "F" rating with the Revdex.com. I recommend that you STAY AWAY from this company and not do any business with Mr. or GoldPro, LLC unless you want to lose your money. Sincerely, *** in Texas

I priority mailed a check for $1267.00 on 4/15/2020. It was received and cashed at GULF CREDIT UNION on 4/21/2020. I ordered 3- 1/4 ounce gold eagle coins at $419.00 a piece. Total with priority mail shipping was $1267.00. ***, the owner and CEO of this company has NEVER mailed my 3 coins. He has stated to me by phone on 3 different occasions that the coins would ship, but they NEVER have?? After nearly a month with nothing for my money, and several phone calls with NO REPLY, I am filing this complaint. I would now like my $1267.00 returned since he will NOT SHIP my coins for which I have already paid for. TERRIBLE SERVICE!! and a CROOK in my eyes!!

I purchased silver rounds from Bigthicketcoin.com seven weeks ago. Delivery was supposed to be in two weeks but after two weeks passed I called and they said my order would go out the first of next week. They have told me the same thing every week since. Today when they didn't answer their phone, I tried their website and it was taken down.

Purchased 10 oz of gold Maples on March 16th which he said he had in inventory and mailed a check to Big Thicket on March 17 in the amount of $15375.00 invoice number 00837. They received my check on March 18th. On March 19th *** called to ask if I was interested in 5 more 1 oz gold maples and I agreed on the price and I sent another check in the amount of $7650.00 for invoice 00673677 the same day. On March 23rd I called and talked with *** and *** to see if my check arrived and it had. We knew what was going on with Covid after we had placed our order and have tried to remain patient but we also tried to communicate with them regularly through email and phone calls. Most emails were responded to but we kept getting the run around that they were working remotely however we know for a fact that someone was at their business almost every day selling. We have been told 3 times our order was going to ship but never has, I have copies of all emails and their responses. We were told our order would ship in 7 to 10 business days after our checks had cleared and once that time had passed is when we kept getting the run around. We can rarely get through to anyone for sometime to talk to them. They have hired an answering service who takes our message but they will not return the call. We had called for your help which your office tried to reach them but no response. We found out that they had moved to a different location on April 2nd. One of last contact with one of them was April 28, 2020 and I talked to *** who told me the gold was there and as soon as they inventoried it they would ship my gold. I talked again with *** on May 1st around 4:50 pm and he said the gold was packaged and ready to ship but *** had to inspect it before it ships. *** was supposedly off because his wife was having a baby. Frankly we were told for 3 weeks that he was off because his wife was at the hospital having a baby. As you have been informed we filed a complaint with the attorney General of Texas on Sunday May 3rd. We received an email back that it had been forwarded to the Consumer affairs Department. Any assistance in getting our money refunded is greatly appreciated.

We received a cashier’s check today from *** (Big Thicket/GoldPro.Shop) in the amount of $23,025.00. I Called Allegiance Bank in Houston to verify that the check was issued by them and was told the exact time of day that the check was issued. He overnighted it Friday with FedeX and we received it today. We took it to the bank and they verified the routing number and told us usually there is a hold for 3 days but they thought the check was good and were not going to put a hold on it.

*** and I want to thank each of you for the time you have all put in helping us resolve this issue with ***. We have had many sleepless nights but today we are feeling pretty good that Mr. has stepped up to refund us. Being 12 hours away from the situation has been difficult for us but things just fell in to place for us after contacting the Revdex.com in Beaumont.

We further hope that Mr. gets his business right and follows through with his business transactions in a truthful way. As for us, we have learned a huge lesson to do more research when buying from a business that we do not know.

We just wanted to thank you all and to let you know that we believe the case is now closed.

Dear Revdex.com of Texas:
We have written and documented proof of all the following:

In mid-January we purchased graded coins from *** (manager) of Big Thicket Coin & Bullion from out-of-state. The first transaction was OK, although not exactly as agreed. OUR FIRST WARNING!
Next we mailed a package of other valuables in trade for silver (weeks prior to any coronavirus concerns). 12 weeks later we have not received silver OR the money owed from the transaction as requested in writing many times!
At first excuses for not sending the silver were believable. We took their apologies initially as they continued to lie to us for over 6 weeks about sending the silver. We were ALSO nearly talked into another trade (for money) because our industry was among the first impacted by coronavirus in our state. We agreed because the price was fair, but ONLY after the silver had shipped out. WHAT HAPPENED NEXT IS TRULY UNBELIEVABLE!!! They texted us a tracking number and a picture of a box with our shipping address on it! ALL FAKED to make us believe the package was on its way!!! Lucky for us, we did not fall for it!

ON March 23rd we were notified in writing that they had "ACCIDENTALLY OVERSOLD!" our silver! purchased 7 weeks prior and we responded adamantly! ***, NEXT told us that we needed to "BE PATIENT AND STOP OFFENDING THEM!" He NEXT told us we would receive our shipment within a week (Literally the 10th time we were lied to!!!) AND ALSO the last time we ever heard from them despite texting, emailing and calling OVER A DOZEN TIMES!
It is now post-week 12! AND the company has gone completely "dark" to us. We EVEN conceded the loss on the original trade in writing and asked them to JUST RETURN OUR MONEY (we mistakenly believed this is ALL they wanted). But apparently not! They currently refuse to respond despite clearly continuing to solicit online sales and reporting being open for business on their website! So we are now taking legal actions, submitting this complaint, and warning others via multiple online reviews!

Also, early in our dealing with ***, he engaged us in several LONG conversations about very personal topics related to our home life, our family, our business, even our religious preferences. Later we learned that EVERY ONE OF THESE CONVERSATION HAD BEEN RECORDED without our permission for reasons still not fully clear to us. Apparently, *** had figured from these conversations he knew us well enough to target us???

No person who sends their money or valuables to a company in good faith in America should EVER have to go through what we have gone through and then be required to sue the company just to get back what is legitimately theirs. But this is where we are currently with Big Thicket Coin & Bullion unfortunately and are hoping to get assistance from the Texas Revdex.com before taking further legal actions that will cost us upfront (and them much more eventually).

At this point, we took it upon ourselves to also warn others via google, yelp, and trust pilot reviews because they have given us no indication of what is going on. We have suggested the following as it applies to BIG THICKET COIN during these times of uncertainty and we stand firmly by all accusations we've made with written proof of everything stated.
During these times of uncertainty, all potential patrons and customers would do well to:
1. Be sure the company actually has what they are buying before wiring money or buying from their online store!
2. They shouldn't send anything valuable unless you are certain (i.e. avoid if you live out-of-state)!
3. If you “store” valuables with them, make certain they actually have what they say and didn't sell it to someone else like they did with us!
4. Potential clients gain absolutely nothing by getting too personal or being too friendly OR patient with this company. AND they need to remember everything said is being recorded no matter how personal, *** for example, takes the conversations.
5. That their deceit happens companywide! Their actions towards us were extremely well coordinated and everyone from the person answering the phone to the shipping department seems to fully participate once they have targeted you!

I had a very disappointing experience with Big Thicket and will not do business with them again. I purchased two gold coins that were never delivered (after nearly two months of repeated assurances that they would be sent). I had to take legal action against the company before I was eventually refunded the cost of the coins. Exceptionally poor customer service (if you are fortunate enough to get them to respond to your inquiries) that ranks them at the very bottom of coin dealers I have worked with over the past twenty years.

I purchased an ounce of platinum via their website on March 19th. I used my credit card and I have a screen shot of the finalized transaction with an order number. The price of platinum was at a record low at the time of my purchase.
I didn't see the transaction at my banks website so I emailed them and asked for an update on my order. I got no response.
I checked again for the bank transaction, and it never went through. I finally got ahold of someone there today and now they say they require me to MAIL A CHECK, or bank wire the money to them. Now, if I do this, and I get nothing in return from them, I have no recourse.
They told me there is some problem with accepting credit cards, however, the website did not mention a thing about my transaction not being valid.

I am rejecting this response because:That is NOT what they said, they told me they wouldn't fill it unless I send them a check or a bank wire. The website clearly accepts credit cards, I don't understand why after I had completed the order, they tell me that I must send a check or bank wire. I am attaching my order confirmation. I don't mind waiting the long wait for the item to be minted, that's understandable. I think they just don't want to fill the order due to the market being so low at the time I made the purchase.

I had called this business & talked to the owner *** on 2-20-2020 about trading some Platinum coins(1th oz(3(1 was in a plastic case that was pf69 ultra cameo, the other 2 were by themselves in plastic sleeves))), a Platinum 1 oz bar that I purchased from Apmex a couple of months ago(it has #'s on it), 3 silver Eagles(2 were proofs, 1 25th anniversary, the other was an early release ms70, another 25th anniversary ultra cameo pf70), along with 3 Platinum 1 gram bars(they do not have #'s like the 1 oz bar does(2 were purchased from Regal coins in Pfleugerville(he will reinstate that fact), in trade for a 5 gram Palladium bar(at first, & then he talked me into a gold coin. I was never given specifics on the coin, all *** stated when I had called is that it was ms62, no date & that it would be mailed this week because(supposedly his wife was in ICU at the hospital & he had no was to get into the safe to mail it to me. I had called their ph # yesterday & a woman picked it up saying I have a wrong #(it is on the website ***, I called it again & let it ring about 25 times & she stated the same thing. I want my coin that is all I keep emailing them & calling, it seems they are a fraud & I just want what is rightfully mine.

We are offering a refund to *** at this time due to the current conditions and things being beyond the companies control.

The company, such as it is, sent me two gold coins for $2,625.00, which I did not order, the date of 07/17/18, this box sat unopened for two weeks, these coins had a valuation of around $1,500.00.

They then charged my account $5,000.00, on 08/18/2018 for some gold coins that I never received. These coins had a value at the time of $2500.00. I did not find this out until I went to pay my credit card bill on 09/10/2018 and discovered the charges to my account. *** stated that he would intercept the coins in the mail, whether he did or not, who knows. After a short time he refunded the $5,000.00 I did not order either of these coin purchases, he believed that they came from one other company that might have been a shell company, which I may have or may not have made purchases from.

I returned the coins that he valued at $2625.00 to him, via registered mail as he requested. He signed for the coins, he said that he had credited my account several times for the $2625.00 that he received back. He never did, the company blocked me from further conversations with the company. I have only talked to *** who stated he was the owner of the company, however, *** is listed as the principal owner, he once stated to me that his wife was named ***. Might be the same person. *** stated to me over the phone that he might of gotten my billing information from a supposed company that he had purchased called North American Gold Bureau of the same city.

That company may have did the same thing, Big Thicket might have owned that company at the time too There were charges to my account for $2,609.00, on 11/21/2017 and on 11/29/17 for $5,798.00. I can find no invoice's for those coins, just as there was no invoices from the one he sent and charged on 07/17/2018. I have asked for the invoices through the credit card company from North American Gold. Return tracking number USPS EM 040067178 US.

Hi, there was an issue in which this specific client was discharged. I did refund the client fully for all returned merchandise, and when he disputes bid Credit Card company we won the case. I understand this client had a bad run in when an awful company, but Big Thicket does not have any obligations to settle other firms shady practices. We wish this individual well, we did more tbban our share to help him recoup his losses, however that's all we will do. I stress the point that even his credit company sided with us, which they only do if you're able to prove without a doubt that the claims are false. We've never had any other type of issues such as this one and we take pride in that.

is very easy to do business with and very knowledgeable about precious metals and coins. I will continue to do business with him!

I wanted to purchase Gold and and Silver. The owner worked with me and assisted me with making my purchase. Mr *** has a great deal of knowledge in Gold and Silver. I highly recommend this company if your are interested in investing in Gold and Silver.
