This complaint has already been resolved-several months ago. Client's walker was already in a state of distress. The brake handle fell off with minimal interaction. I explained simply that our policy is to have the repair receipt sent into our accounts payable department and get a check cut for her as soon as we receive it. It took the client nearly 30 days to call back and adv me she was unable to mail us a copy of the receipt. I spoke immediately to my employer and we decided we would hand deliver the client the 10.00 for the repair and pick up the receipt at that point in time. The client failed to provide the receipt for the transaction but accepted the $10.00 for repair. This issue was already resolved. There is no need for further resolution. Our staff was extremely accommodating to the clients needs and handled the situation promptly. The timing of the event was the result of the client not following through with her end of the communication process. As soon as she did make contact, we were able to make the necessary accommodations to get her resolution. At no time was a member of my staff anything other than helpful for this client. The only time we could not accommodate her request was after she repeatedly attempted to coerce the personal information for our driver from our dispatch unit. We had to firmly advise her to stop requesting his information to get her to accept our assistance during the initial call.
