Review: 2nd time in 1 month I travel from Rocklin to West Sac (35miles )to Gold Tans to use 2 Groupons for Wrap and Tan. 2nd time in a month the Salon on weekday is not open on time ! Same employee both times no name Badge , attractive Russian female. Enter Salon for Services after late Open the Same employee now for a 2nd time in month cant Spray Tan me as she says shes just learning and she is confused how to use Groupon ! She hasnt learned since my last trip out ! Comeback in the Afternoon same day now ( now 2nd trip 70miles for services) If it could be possible my experience is even worse! The Salon Manager [redacted] female dark hair , is on phone when I enter,seems to be the coversation of her life, She gets off phone Greets me with:Insincere Hello more of Hey and then Dude you cant believe my day on and on as if we know each other or I care about her drama! She tells me I will have to wait to spray Tan yet no one is in salon at all ! She tries to sell me Lotions & some plants & false eyelashes & tanning services & even a massage. Menawhile I dont want any of those services All I want is a Spray Tan and a Body wrap on my Groupon. Next is a weird Spanish Inquistion Groupon use and how she can spray me after regular appointment client comes. I actu[redacted] didnt feel at ease with her so passed undressing and being face to face and in a bathsuit with this Manager and dont want to wait anymore.Next just want to use 2nd Groupon to do Body wrap. she tells me to hold on to see if the Wrap is Clean ! I left. Was incredibly ill service for a salon . Sounds like a saftey issue if the Salon Manager doesnt now if the Body Wrap is Clean.It wasnt like it was busy and no one wants to know Employee chit chat or that the Service you want or the appliance your about put your body in maybe dirty! In May the Owner [redacted] told me they were getting rid of the Body wraps hurry up use my services up. Ive tried. This place is just poorly run.Total waste of a Good Tuesday driving to Gold Tans twice in day BIG WASTE OF TIME !Desired Settlement: As small business owner my ownself , Train your Staff better, weekdays are crucial times to be on the ball & open on time.Perhaps hire wait staff in your Spa that know how to render the personal service:Spray Tan that you advertise !Teach Managers that Customer service is key. No one wants to be Greeted as Hey laugh laugh dude nor hear about numming chit chat on limted weekday time in any business. A spa is supposed to be calming this was not calming.Im now seeking both due refunds per Groupon

I think you have the wrong business, we do not have anyone in our books as[redacted]. I lookup up all the dates she came in and not one person came in that day for the body fit. I know who this is and it's not a client.

All a con/lie to get someone fired.

As I ve made at least 5 different trips to this salon since May 2014. I think the reply I just read conveys the dysfunction of this business that I tried to explain in my orginal complaint to the Revdex.com. I find it a abnormal reply as were the 2 previous other replies by GoldTans.

Review: I was in the body fit room, where you are naked and in a see through like sauna suit, the door was locked and typically you are under the infrared heat blankets this particular time I had about 15 minutes left and I was getting over heated so I flip open the infrared heat blanket and was cooling down before getting up when someone (a male) whom I believe might've been a maintenance man proceeded to unlock the door and come in. He then shut it and I over heard him talking to the front desk girl and her telling him oh don't wording about it laughing I was so humiliated I didn't even want to walk out. When I did he apologized and the girl was just laughing it off like I'm sorry about that there was a miscommunication I told him the storage room was in the back. I hurried out of there and as I'm getting in my car I still hear them snickering about it. This was absolutely ridiculous if the door is locked then they should knock or be sure it's empty. If she knew she had a customer back here she should've walked him to the storage closet. I have prepaid appointments but I am so terrified of going back and humiliated.Desired Settlement: I would prefer that the customer service front desk workers have a little more common sense and training and if not a full refund I would like at least that visit refunded or an additional one added. I made it back to my scheduled appointment and hopefully my anxiety about going is short lived because I do enjoying the body fit it is very relaxing but since has only made me anxious.

This has just come to my attention. I am so sorry please accept my apologies. We would love to give you 2 FREE body wraps. I am the owner and live in AZ (retired) it's hard to know what is really happening @ the salon. I will do something about this today.

If I have to let a staff member go I will, this is now the way to do business

Review: I went to this place to tan and paid $55 for a 1-month membership. If the owner would have been more respectful and acknowledged the issue I wouldn't be making this complaint. I still have a week left of membership and I will not go back. I am LITERALLY tanner on my backside than I am on my frontside. There is a line down my entire body. One side of my body is much lighter that the other side. I went back and tanned 2 times after I noticed. The 1st time I went back I showed the girl at the desk and she said wow I've never seen that before and I gave her my number she said her the owner would call me as soon as they were in which would be in 2 days. The 2nd time I went in I said to the girl at the desk I'm tanner on my back and she said oh I already know and showed me a post-it with my number on it and said the owner is going to call me as soon as she is in...never received a call...he/she can't deny they didn't get the memo...the owner will know exactly who I am when he/she reads this. This was my first experience tanning in West Sacramento. Hope this review helps.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of my $55 plus tax and an acknowledgement from the owner.
