Gold Trust Realty Reviews (8)

I secured homes in the past years with this very companyGold Trust Realty is a trustworthy and flexible company- the broker that I had always negotiated professionally and was aware of my financial situation10/would recommend this company to a friend!

Gold Trust Realty "manages" the property which I rentIt's an older building and has it's quirksGTR has been fairly painless to deal with when I report issues and quick to repairEXCEPT, there is roof, ceiling and floor damage from a leak that has been shoddily patched, plastered over and grown worse over the years that I have lived in the dwellingIt has gotten to the point where I can't use of the bedrooms out of fear of ceiling collapseEach time that I contact GTR about this, the property manager tells me that the owner of the property won't agree to pay for the repairsor that the owner is out of the country and can't respondor that the owner of the property is in the process of transferring ownershipor that the owner of the property isyou get the idea
I have done a little research on the laws affecting landlords and tenants and I strongly feel that GTR has an obligation to repair the damages; I don't understand why they aren'tI really like living there in terms of location, neighborhood, rate, etcSo now, I am in the process of getting legal assistance to pursue the matter of a leakand it is just outrageous that I need go through all of thisI feel like the property manager at Gold Trust Realty intentionally ignores my requests/pleas for helpI would never recommend a business that leaves me feeling this way

We worked with [redacted] the broker of Gold Trust Realty. He is professional, communicative, open, and has the expertise I have not seen in a realtor before. We are not Chinese speakers but my daughter in law is and she wanted to be able to communicate in her native language. We easily understood [redacted]'s competent English and she his Mandarin. We have bought and sold 8, now 9 homes in two states. We have never ever worked with a more competent, professional realtor. He kept us informed at all times, besides answering numerous questions from the two of us. His patience was more than I would have expected. His negotiating ability, knowledge of community, knowledge of real estate law, referrals for title and inspection were truly amazing. I would highly recommend [redacted]'s Gold Trust Realty to anyone.

I secured 3 homes in the past 5 years with this very company. Gold Trust Realty is a trustworthy and flexible company- the broker that I had always negotiated professionally and was aware of my financial situation. 10/10 would recommend this company to a friend!

Gold Trust Realty "manages" the property which I rent. It's an older building and has it's quirks. GTR has been fairly painless to deal with when I report issues and quick to repair. EXCEPT, there is roof, ceiling and floor damage from a leak that has been shoddily patched, plastered over and grown worse over the 5 years that I have lived in the dwelling. It has gotten to the point where I can't use 2 of the 3 bedrooms out of fear of ceiling collapse. Each time that I contact GTR about this, the property manager tells me that the owner of the property won't agree to pay for the repairs... or that the owner is out of the country and can't respond... or that the owner of the property is in the process of transferring ownership... or that the owner of the property is... you get the idea.

Warning. Do not use this company. Here is my horror story.
I found a home that I was interested in renting and contacted the person renting it out from Gold Trust ([redacted]). She said in poor English that she was renting this for a friend of hers who lives in CA. I made arrangements to view the house and found it to be a good fit.
At that time "[redacted]" (Her English name I guess?) emailed me the rental application and let me know what we needed to provide. Everything seemed good. We made plans to meet later that day to turn in our paperwork.
When we met, as she was going through our paper work, she kept exclaiming about how I made more than my husband and how that "was not right" and that he should be making more than me....As if that wasn't insulting enough she started asking about our cleanliness and after showing her a picture of our dog who was laying on our bed (granted it was not made) she said if it was her renting the place as the owner she wouldn't rent to us because she can tell we aren't neat people. She said that she could tell because our furniture was "not very nice" and had the nerve to say that maybe we could have a yard sale to sell our stuff in order to buy nicer new stuff before we moved in.....AND THEN said but maybe the owner will overlook it because I make so much money. At that time I looked at my husband in shock and he said he was "ready to go" as was I. We picked up our applications, documents and 80 bucks for the fees and walked out.
Bummed we missed out on a good house, but SO GLAD we dodged a bullet in having to deal with these people.
If I could give zero stars I would. The un-professionalism was astounding to me.
