In regards to the complaint, there was a rare clerical error where the freeze was put in place as requested, but the invoices were never zeroed out. We reached out to the member and told her we would issue her a full refund for the amount of *** back to the card on file and told her it
would take 3-business days to process. We were very apologetic and she seemed very happy with the end result and told her to reach out to me if she has any further questions

Our records indicate that Mr***' membership agreement was indeed cancelled on August 19thThough he was no longer responsible for his membership dues at that time, he still had Personal Training agreement that was signed on May 21st in which he agreed to pay $a month for one session every
other weekIn order to cancel this agreement, written notice is requiredWe have not received any written notice to cancel his Personal Training agreement at this time This is completely separate from the membership agreementWe understand that he has made attempts to contact our personal training director so, as a courtesy, we have cancelled his personal training agreement with no future payments due as of November 24th and we have processed a refund for his October and November dues along with his two overdraft charges for a total of $He will receive this refund by mail within the next days

I am responding back to case number ***, *** ***Mr*** is requesting a refund in the amount of $***.**He emailed me on 02/stating that he would like to cancel his membership, so I processed his membership with the intent of a day notice, because that is what our agreement
statesOur agreement also states that in order to cancel your membership, you must come to the club Monday-Friday and fill out a cancellation form, or you can send a certified letter to the club stating you would like to cancel your membershipHe was charged on 02/for $**, which is our annual fee, and again on 03/for $*.**, which are his monthly duesBoth of those invoices fell in the day notice from the time I received his emailJust for any inconvenience that the cancellation process caused him, I refunded him a total amount of $**.** back to the card on file for the two invoices that we charged him that fell in the day noticeHe also stated in his email that he has been trying to cancel for months? I sent him an email on 03/stating what our cancellation policy entailed and the proper procedures to go about cancellingI also stated that he would be receiving a refund for the $** transaction on 02/and $*.** for the transaction on 03/just for any inconvenience our cancellation policy might have caused himI have not heard from Mr***, nor has he replied to the email I sent him on 03/Please let me know if there is anything else you would like me to do or you have any further questions and I will gladly assist you!

After further review of this account we are unable to find record of a previous cancelation. We have however cancelled this account immediately with no further billing and waived the cancelation fees
