Review: I have made numerous attempts to contact a lawyer via office telephone, cell phone and emails from the law firm to resolve an issue to no avail. The law firm was paid $7,500. as a retainer fee. My attorney was not able to represent me at a closing. Another attorney was sent in his place who was vaguely familiar with the case. The closing was held in June and monies were held in escrow pending disbursements of funds as per divorce agreement. We are now in December. Almost six months later since the closing of my house and still no resolution to the disbursements of escrow funds due to the fact that there is no communication between me and the law firm. My attorney never returns my phone calls or emails. My attorney allowed my ex's attorney to take the lead role during the closing. I feel I have no representation and that my attorney is not really working on my behalf. I would not recommend this law firm to my worse enemy.Desired Settlement: A refund settlement because of the amount of stress that I was under due to the fact that there was no communication between myself and anyone at the law firm for months and due to the fact that I feel I have no one truly representing me on my behalf. I can use refund to pay for another attorney who can truly represent me.
