This is not a consumerWe are trying to collect a commercial debt owed by this business ownerHow does he have an A+ rating with the Revdex.com if he doesn't pay his business' bills? The audacity of this debtorHe needed help while operating machinery for his business and he called our client to come out and service a machineThe client came out and fixed the machine so that he could continue to conduct businessThey sent him an invoice and he never paid itWe all pay more every day, for increased costs of goods and services, because of people like this debtorNow he files a complaint against us for trying to get the client paid for the work they performed? It's outrageous Regarding the Truth in Caller ID Act, we know the law, and we follow the lawThere is no defrauding anyone here --- and his parsing of the law in his complaint is a pathetic attempt to divert attention away from the fact that that he owes this debtHe wants to create problems for us, so that we go away and he doesn't have to pay for the services that were rendered We'd be happy to validate this debt, even though this is not a consumer debt and FDCPA does not applyWe don't believe this is a genuine complaint because we would work with the debtor to set up payment arrangements if that's what he needs, we can't even get the courtesy of a returned phone call Straight from the FCC website: FCC rules on caller ID spoofing Under the Truth in Caller ID Act, FCC rules: Prohibit any person or entity from transmitting misleading or inaccurate caller ID information with the intent to defraud, cause harm, or wrongfully obtain anything of value

This debt collector is totally missing the pointI am not disputing the debt in question, and not trying to divert attention away from the debtIn fact the debt has been paid. How does Goldberg, Milstein, & Black not have a F rating with the laundry list of complaint against them on this site? This debt collector does not "know" the law, and clearly does not understand the definition of defraud which I spelled out for them in my original complaint. What is it called when a collections company caller ID spoofs in order to collect money? DEFRAUDAgain, here is the definition per Merriam Webster "to trick or cheat someone or something in order to get money : to use fraud in order to get money from a person, an organization, etc." The audacity of this debt collectorThe practices this company uses are deceptive, Illegal, and over the top rude. You can catch more flies with honey than with vinegar

This is not a consumer. We are trying to collect a commercial debt
owed by this business owner. How does he have an A+ rating with the Revdex.com if he
doesn't pay his business' bills?
The audacity of this debtor. He needed help while operating
machinery for his business and he called our client to...

come out and service a
machine. The client came out and fixed the machine so that he could continue to
conduct business. They sent him an invoice and he never paid it. We all pay
more every day, for increased costs of goods and services, because of people
like this debtor. Now he files a complaint against us for trying to get the
client paid for the work they performed? It's outrageous.
Regarding the Truth in Caller ID Act, we know the law, and we
follow the law. There is no defrauding anyone here --- and his parsing of the
law in his complaint is a pathetic attempt to divert attention away from the
fact that that he owes this debt. He wants to create problems for us, so that
we go away and he doesn't have to pay for the services that were rendered.
We'd be happy to validate this debt, even though this is not a
consumer debt and FDCPA does not apply. We don't believe this is a genuine
complaint because we would work with the debtor to set up payment arrangements
if that's what he needs, we can't even get the courtesy of a returned phone
call.

Under
the Truth in Caller ID Act,  FCC rules:

any person or entity from transmitting misleading or inaccurate caller ID information
with the intent to defraud, cause harm, or wrongfully obtain anything of
value.
