Hello I am responding to the complaint made against us that the charge of $1,was unreasonableAs I had told her if we had been contacted and told about this incident we would have given them another room so we were able to deal with the room in a timely mannerWe would have taken the bedding and soaked it in our cleaning solution and could have been able to save some of itDue to the fact that we were not notified about this at all and the customer just used all the towels to wipe it up, left it in the tub, and left the key in the room where we discovered it many hours later and we were not able to save any of the beddingAlso the mattress and carpet were soiled and had to be cleaned as well As you are aware when dealing with any bodily fluids certain precautions must be taken as we would be exposing other customers to a bio-hazardous materialSo just surface cleaning the area is not possibleWe have cleaners to deal with this and it does take a certain amount of timeThe carpet must be cleaned to the mat underneathIt requires a deep soaking of the carpet and several days to dry making this room unusableThe vomit that we were dealing with was bright orange and red leaving very obvious stains on all of the bedding making it unusableI am sure as a parent she would have been very angry if she rented a motel room with sheets, pillows, towels, and bedspread that had vomit stains everywhere We had our housekeeping and maintenance men clean this room to remove the furniture and have the mattress and carpets cleaned We just purchased this motel in May and did not open it till June so all of the bedding was new and I have included links to similar bedding that I will be replacing it with to help show the cost Full Bed Spread $each Full Flat Sheet $each Full Fitted Sheet $each Pillow Case $each Pillow Case $each Pillow $ Pillow $ Bath Towel 35x$each Bath Towel 35x$each Hand Towel 16x$each Hand Towel 16x$each Wash Cloth 13x$each Wash Cloth 13x$each Bath Mat 22x$each Total of $ Labor, cleaners, shampooer, drying fan $ Loss of rent $x days = $ ________________________________________________________________________________... Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because I continue to feel Cherish took advantage of myself and family with the charge she made with out notification. She has not responded with any resolution or attempt to mediateIf Revdex.com has a better route for me to take vsthe continuance of rejecting responses I'd be happy to follow that path

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because: I do not feel Cherish has attempted to accommodate my concerns
I want it to be verified that Cherish never mentioned that my family would have been moved to another room had they contacted the front desk
In further clarification, she would not verbalize to myself, nor my credit card company that the charges would have been made any less had a different route been taken and the linens were salvagedI did ask for images of the linens post cleaning, those were not providedI had also been made to believe that she had already replaced the linens
Originally, when contacted by myself and my credit card she stated that the room could not be used for nightsThrough the Revdex.com she cites nightsFour nights of a full rate for a motel room being unusable when the facility was not likely at full capacity based on the amount of cars that were in the parking lot is inappropriateIf no guests were turned away no money was lost
I do appreciate the Revdex.com contacting Cherish, but I continue to feel that she has fabricated informationI have gone forth with my credit card company and the Attorney General Consumer protectionI had also requested several items from Cherish, one of these being the policy for carpet cleaning and how often the carpets are cleaned in case it was time for a routine cleaningI only received one image of the carpet from Cherish, it did not show emesis to the extent that Cherish had described

We clean our carpets annually since our company is only open May 15th to Sept 15th at the time Ms. [redacted] stayed with us we had just purchased the motel in May 2016 and the company that owed it before us had just installed new carpets before us purchasing it.
