I purchased two wigs. The store clerk gave me the wrong wig; 1 of the 2 wigs was not the wig that I selected. Manager reneged on offer to exchange.I purchased two wigs on Saturday, 2/28/**. The wig room store clerk gave me the wrong wig; One of the 2 wigs I received was not the wig that I selected based on the samples I tried on in the wig room. After trying on the sample wig, the clerk left the wig room, and went to get the packaged wig from the sales floor. I don't know what happened (I think the clerk just made an honest mistake), but there was obviously a mix-up at the store by the wig clerk. When I opened the wig package on Sunday, March 1st (the next day), I saw that the clerk gave me the wrong wig. The store was closed at this hour so I called the store on Monday afternoon 3/2/** and spoke with a woman who identified herself as '[redacted]' Note: this is not her given name, but rather a name she uses while working in the store. I told [redacted] about the issue and she told me to bring the wig and receipt in and she would allow me to exchange the wig so that I could get the correct wig (instead of the wrong wig the clerk gave me mistakenly). I took the wig and receipt into the store on Tuesday, 3/3/**. [redacted] would not allow me to exchange the wig; she said she now needed me to bring her the tags as well. I left the store and returned on Wednesday, 3/4/** with the wig, receipt, and the tags. [redacted] allowed me to try on and find the correct sample wig so that she could then locate the correct package from the sales floor. She returned the correct wig package to me, and then proceeded to point and shake her finger in my face and yell at me. [redacted] verbally and physically assaulted me (scratched my finger) as she snatched the wig package out of my hands. She said I didn't deserve to have the wig exchanged because I would not stand there and allow her to yell at me, berate me, and point her finger in my face. Fearing further bodily injury and ridicule, I left the store and am now filing a claim with the Revdex.com. The cost of the wig was $31.49 plus tax; however the total receipt for both wigs purchased on 2/28/** is $66.84. Transaction #XXXXXX. Please note the cashier who rung up my purchase at the register was not the wig room clerk who gave me the wrong wig. [redacted] was not in the store at the time that I purchased the two wigs on 2/28/**. Desired SettlementBecause of my negative experience I want no further dealings with this business. I do not choose to spend my money with a business that berates its customers, physically and verbally assaults them, and reneges on its promise to make things right, especially when the error occured by their wig room clerk. I therefore request a full refund for the price of the wig, $31.49 plus tax. IF a full refund of $31.49 is granted I will consider this issue resolved and will not pursue further legal action that include seeking damages for the physical assault endured by [redacted]. I know the assault made on my person by the manager, [redacted] was captured by store video cameras. Business Response The customer bought two wigs on Feb,28 and she called on Mar,2 Monday and said that our wig room clerk gave her wrong wig than the one she try on. So I politely told her to bring back the wrong wig and the receipt and see what I can do. She came to store on Mar,3 Tuesday with wig which looked like it has been worn. But because our wig clerk made an honest mistake I told her I would exchange it to correct wig but the tag from wig was missing so I told her I need the tag to the wig for me to exchange for her. From than on she got very angry and verbally cursed at me and shouting loud in the store. She said we are trying to rip off her money. She said she was going to contact Revdex.com and cancel her credit card transaction. On Mar 4, She came back with the tag to the wig. I gave her the correct wig but she kept on saying that she will not be using our business and she was going to call her credit card company and tell her friends to not to use our store. Shouting in the wig room and cursing that she had to make several trips in the rain for the mistakes we made. So I refused to give her new wig after she stated that she was going to cancel her credit card transaction. Because of her outrageous behavior and cursing, and shouting in the store many of our customers complained as they were leaving our store. Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)The statements made by Golden Beauty in their response dated 4/7/15 are largely false. The wig had not been worn; I took it out the package, and cut the tags off, removed the tissue/netting. That is when I realized it was the wrong wig. How would I know that I was given the wrong wig if I did not open the package to remove the wig? [redacted] herself said the the wig that I had been given wrongly was stored next to the wig that I should have been given. I am in the process of disputing this credit transaction with my bank. I do not use foul language, I know how to write and handle business professionally. It is a fact that I will no longer do business with this company, and I will exercise my right to discourage others from doing business with Golden Beauty by sharing my story with those within my circles of influence.Final Business Response
