Review: I signed my daughter up for driving lessons because she wanted to take them privately. Both she and I asked about what license she would get. We were assured more than once that she would get her senior license. After getting it, it is a junior license. Apparently this driving school is not approved by the state for teenagers to get a senior license. This misrepresentation could have had disastrous results if she had had an accident driving after 9:00 or having too many people in the car.Desired Settlement: Refund of all monies due.

business since 1978. We specialize in

private driving lessons to help

prepare for the road test and to improve overall driving

skills. We also have packages available

where we bring students to their road test. We are not a [redacted]

driver's education program. We do not

advertise or mislead

customers to thinking we are a [redacted] driver's

education program. Upon completing the 5-hour pre-licensing course [redacted] received

a MV-278 certificate. In that course one of the topics covered

are rules and restrictions for drivers with a junior

below and on the NYS DMV website.

We are sorry that Ms. [redacted] has misunderstood

the mission of our driving

school and NYS DMV regulations. Iam happy to say that with the help of our driving school [redacted]

passed her road test the first time. Iam concerned

conversation with Ms. [redacted]'s daughter about her

receiving a junior license

and the restrictions that will come with it. Golden

Driving Course at a discounted price.

The Defensive

Driving Course will help save money on car insurance, however, this course will not give [redacted] a senior

license at 17.

Ms. [redacted]'s daughter

is welcome to attend a defensive driving

course for free. A second person is welcome

to attend the defensive driving course with her for $25.00 which is 50% off. I'm concerned because I personally had a conversation with Ms. [redacted]'s

daughter about her receiving a junior license and the restrictions that come with it.

For the record, we are proud that we are not a high school driver's

ed course and have no motivation or reason to mislead anyone. Many parents prefer our driving school as opposed to a high school driver's

ed course for the following

reasons: Graduated licensing and the restrictions of a junior license promote responsible driving

and is proven to save teenage driver's

lives. In addition, we also have many services

that are not included with driver's ed such as private driving

lessons vs. shared

driving time in driver's ed. We also offer pick up at students

homes and road test service

where a professional driving instructor will accompany a student to their road test.

All of the services mentioned above and more are not available in a high school driver's

ed course. Ms. [redacted]'s daughter

is welcome to call our office and set up an appointment to take a defensive driving

course within the next 90 days.
