Thank you for your letter of notification in regards to complaint ID ***, filed by *** *** ***We appreciate the opportunity to formally respond to this complaint to provide more details about the situation.*** *** was a guest at our nail salon on September 22nd and
received a Gel Full SetThe price for this full set is $58.00, however, we gave *** *** a student discount which reduced her price to $56,This price was explained to her at the beginning of the appointment by the nail technician who served *** ***During her appointment, the nail technician reported that their conversations were minimal and she gave no indication that she was unhappy with the service or the price of such service.*** *** later called and left a message on Sunday, September 24th, indicating how unhappy she was with the results of her serviceI called her back on Monday, September 25th to inquire about the complaintI calmly asked her about her experience with us and was very taken back by her abrasive toneShe proceeded to yell at me over the phone and demanded a full refundthen asked her to come into the salon so that can inspect the job performed by my technician.*** *** came in on Tuesday, September 26th to show me the results of her full setShe was visibly shaken up and seemed very heated about the state of her nailsI respected her request to speak privately, however, she repeatedly raised her voice during this meeting and demanded a full refundAfter further inspection of the full set, I saw that this wasn't a "horrible" job as she had describedagreed that it wasn't perfect as the two respective pinky fingers are not exactly the same lengthThe fact that her two pointer finger nails are not exactly straight is entirely out of the technician's controlPointer fingers are often the most difficult to make perfect due to each individual's use of their hands for writing, typing, instrument use, arthritis, etcAs for the chip on the corner of her thumb, it's difficult for me to determine if it's due to the technician's missteps or if she accidentally bumped it, thereby causing the chipThe only information I had to go on was the state of the other nails which, from what I could see, were free of cracks, chips, and flawsOn a scale of 0% to 100%, gave the job a 90% (please see enclosed photos) and offered *** *** a 50% refund of the $She immediately refused and demanded a full refundWanting to appease her and to remedy the tense state she was in, agreed to refund her the full $She received this full amount in cash with multiple witnesses employees and guests) presentPlease see the enclosed photos of the Gel Full Set which were taken on September 26th for visual evidence of the results.It is our goal to provide the best results and customer service to our guests and hope that our resolution of the complaint, in addition to the provided details and photos, will help resolve this complaintShould you have additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at *** or by email at ***

I went to this establishment with my two family members. They were not busy we were greeted a few minutes after walking in and woman who greeted us was friendly. We got our pedicures mine was done very quickly but I was pleased with the job the young lady had done. I was then led to a seat to get my nails done the man I went to asked me what I wanted, I told him, and he did the opposite. The color I wanted I didn't get,the length and shape I wanted I didn't get. Three of my nails have acrylic on one half of them. I will go to another shop and see if they can fix it for me.

Review: They charged almost double the price they had quoted. Continually added services without stating their was an up charge. They had no desire to resolve the issue as they were only concerened with collecting more money. The final product was horrible. I left with super glue all over my fingers. Absolutely no polish was used, only a clear coat on top. When asked to go shorter, she did not listen. I asked for a colored tip and was told that I could only have a white tip. Entire experience was awful and I'm left with horrible nails that I have to pay to fix.Desired Settlement: Complete refund of $91.
