My name is [redacted] ***I am the owner of the Golden Nugget jewelersWe have been in business since at the same location.We've been retailing fine jewelry and repair services for past years here in Columbus.Our reputation is very important to usWe do offer full values for trade ups on any items when the trade in item is in a fair condition.We do guarantee the contents of karat gold and the quality of our gem stones that we sell.However we do not guarantee lost stones or parts due to physical damages( home owners insurance may cover loss or damages)Mr [redacted] brought the ring in for repair on June,8th Repair cost was agreed and we sent it out to the manufacturer for repair.When the job was completed, I notified Mr [redacted] on AugMrand Mrs [redacted] came in a week or so later to pick up the ring but refuse to pay for it.Just to be nice, we decide to give Mr [redacted] a brand new ring instead of the one that has been repaired.On Sept25th, I offered extra 10% off from the cost

Review: My significant other bought a diamond engagement ring from Ted at Golden Nugget. After payment and proposal, we looked at the diamond ring and it was obviously not the stone that my significant other picked out. There were three large black dots in the very center of the ring. It was graded VS2 meaning that you should not be able to see those inclusions with the naked eye, at a distance, as you could with this diamond. The workmanship on the ring was poor- there were solder marks, the prongs were not squared, and the ring was wonky side to side. I went to ask them and they stated that was the diamond. To him, they said that they didn't know how it was graded and they don't remember seeing the dots. They are currently bullying my boyfriend into working with them to buy another ring there when we just want his money back and to be able to purchase a new diamond ring somewhere else. This has ruined what should be a happy time.Desired Settlement: We do not trust this store at all and want a refund.
