Golden Pear Funding

I prefer to be anonymous. My husband is in a slip and fall case and borrowed $1500 from Golden Pear. They told him that his payments will be $3000 per month for 6 months. That's $18,000 on a $1500 loan. That seems fishy to me & outrageous even on a $2000 loan let alone a $1500 loan. How can you justify that? Even regular cash advance places like Money Tree don't charge that. They'd have to be charging you 700℅ interest which is illegal.
