I applied for an apartment with this company and was asked to pay a $application fee and put $down for a depositMy application was denied and upon calling them to find out how to get my deposit back, they refuse to issue it back to me as now they say it's a "processing fee" yet that's what the $application fee was for and nowhere did it say they would keep the deposit or that it was non refundable nor did I sign anything allowing them to keep that deposit
Sent to collections w/o notification after months of on time payments despite verbal agreement that they would contact us before collections
