Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 10, 2016/06/13) */ Hello, I am [redacted] the manager at Golden Square Insurance ServicesCoverage was placed on her vehicle per her request for her on the day of her purchaseShe did not have enough funds to start the insurance so as a courtesy we broke up her payment for her and that left a balance of $due a week laterAs is her prerogative, she decided to return the vehicleShe wanted to cancel the insurance verbally and she was duly informed that she needed to sign a cancellation request or get proof that the vehicle was returnedAfter spoke with the client regarding her situation we even told her we would waive the remaining balance as a gesture of good will since her purchase did not work out even though technically that balance was still owedShe refused to sign a cancellation request so we contacted the dealer on her behalf and asked them for proof that the vehicle was returnedOnce it was received we sent it to the insurance company to process a cancellation effective the day the vehicle was returned so she can get the maximum refundWe have just received the refund check from the insurance company have forwarded it to the clientThe client was informed of the process and as was told the insurance company will refund her the prorated amount (What she paid minus the days of coverage till she returned the vehicle)We have went above and beyond to assist her so I am rather surprised to have received a complaint Initial Consumer Rebuttal / [redacted] (3000, 13, 2016/06/15) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) [redacted] the manger is telling lies if he was handling the problem I would of not had to file this complaintSeveral phones call requesting I get refunded and put off with I'll get back to you.and never did they return my phone calls I had to call several time and get no whereThis is not the way a manager should handle his clientsAlso on the 13th he had called and left a message that a check was received in the office and I could pick it up any timeThe following day I called the office and [redacted] was not in and one of the workers in the office said that they were trying to get ahold of him and he would get back with meA few hours later I have to call again to hear them tell me that I would have to come the following day because [redacted] the manager had taken the check with himWhy would he not leave it in the office with his other agent in case I was to pick it up
