Review: Bought a used car from Golden Star Auto Sales. Sales Representive (T) was great, however when I drove the car home I had noticed that the two rear tires were going flat. Upon further inspection I found the two back tires were cracked on the side wall. The two other front tires were close to being cracked as well. The car was not safe to drive and thank God I had no blow outs on the road. I took the car to [redacted] in [redacted] and they advise me that I needed four tires, front end alignment, brakes for all for tires, and shocks. I had the work done. I then contacted Golden Star Auto Sales and informed them of what had happen. * and his boss (name unknown) told me to bring the car in because they have a tire guy. I told them that the car was not safe to drive (drive was 60 miles or so) and I had already took car of the problems. They said they wanted to make things right and for me to fax them the paper work related to the car repair which I did. After three weeks trying to work with them, they replied we can't do anything for you as the tires you bought are to expensive.Desired Settlement: Refund for the tires and brakes as I see this as a SAFETY issue. They are very lucky that I did not have a blowout and had physical harm done to me or my family by their neglect (selling a car thats not safe).

I paid $15,000 for a 2012 Toyota Corolla at 10am. They took the car to get touch up paint and carwash. I went to pick it up at 7pm and noticed the washed car had a lot more dings and scratches that wasn't visible before the carwash. I flat out told them I didn't want the car. Being a very pushy owner, [redacted] said he will personally take the car and do the touch up paint. The next day at 10am I informed them I no longer wanted the car. They said they were going to charge me $350 for the paint job and then $500 for the restocking fee! I was upset, I told them that CA Buyer's Bill of Right said that I am entitled a full $15,000 refund because I never took possession of the car and it still had the dealer's tags on it. They continued to advertise the car on their website for the 2 days that they had my money. I told them that I would take them to court and they still refuse to give me any portion of the $850 back. I am in the process of suing them.

Notice by Dealer or Lessor-Retailer of Transfer and Mileage: Form Requirements
d) A sale is deemed completed and consummated when the purchaser of the vehicle has paid the purchase price, or, in lieu thereof, has signed a purchase contract or security agreement, and has taken physical possession or delivery of the vehicle.
Before you buy, check out their messy showroom and disguising bathrooms. Is there where you want to do business? By the way they had an incorrect car description and my car didn't have a security alarm or even 2 keys. Good luck and make sure you aren't hungry, tired, or frustrated when you sign docs. Make sure you love the car, because you won't get your money back EVEN if you haven't driven the car off the lot.
