Review: I needed a new motor for the driver side window, the window was stuck half up when the motor failed. I called this company explained the issue and was told the total cost to fix the motor was $225 USD. I agreed and the technician came out on Tuesday March 7th. After much delay, I was told the driver side button also does not work and that the cost for the motor was $246 USD and the button would be an extra $100 USD. I agreed and scheduled an appointment for the next day for the technician to come back and finish the job and paid in full. The technician said the part did not arrive because it was not ordered so we rescheduled for Friday. Friday 3/11 the I called the technician who again claimed the part was not ordered and when I was trying to reschedule hung up on me. I called back a few times and did not get an answer until I finally called Golden State Auto Glass back using the number I had been contacted with. He assured me it would get fixed on Monday 3/14 between 4-6pm. I called at 5:18pm to get an update and the gentleman told me he was getting a hold of the technician and would call right back. I have not received a call back nor did they answer when I tried back at 5:50 or 6:10pm. I do not believe they have any intention of fixing my window after cashing my check on 3/11.Desired Settlement: Finish the job or give me a refund of $346 USD

Review: On Sept 3, 2014 the tech showed up at my husbands job to complete 2 windsheild installs. The tech showed up with an invoice for $525 whne the prive quoted was $340 so calls had to be made and we were told it was a mistake on the service writers part. A price was agreed on and the tech went to work he was late and my husband had to go back to work so he let the tech work while he also did his own job. The tech showed up without a gasket to install the new windsheild so we had to use the old one as well as one we had for another job. Since my husband at work he did not check it really closely before the tech took off. That night we tried calling but no answer, the next day we called again and were told by the person answering the phone he didnt work there anymore to call back in 2 days because nobody would answer the phones until then. Finally a week later we got through and were told that a tech would come out and ix the windsheild, one was not installed completely and one has a ripped gasket and will leak, tech never showed and can't get an answer. I called Monday 9/10 several times and finally when I called from my work phone I got an answer this was a t 440pm, I was told that he would check with the tech and get back to me it is now Sept 18 and they still ahcen't called me back. My husband got one answer on Sept 17 and was told that the owner was moving and it was really busy but they would be here Sept 19 at 530 to do the job right. I have been calling them literally every 5 minutes since 330 and it is 5pm now to confirm they are actually going to show up I have other things to do but don't want to chance missing them as now we are out the money we paid and we have 2 leaking windsheilds. I have called, emailed, posted on facebook, left messages on their contact me through the web page but no calls back no answers and no replies. Rainy season is coming and I need these fixed I left messages that they could refund me my money and I could get someone else to do it, still no responseDesired Settlement: I would like a full refund so I can take that and use it towards a new gasket since they ripped one of ours and a second gasket that should have come with the new windsheild and installation and getting another company to install the glass correctly. I really would like this done before it rains again as the windsheild they ripped the gasket on now leaks and the other one has a huge gap where they didn't get the glass into the channel completely (could cause glass to break also)

Review: I had this company come out to re-seal my windshield, they broke the old one taking it out so I had to pay for a new one on top of the fee for the original work. they did a lousy job putting the new windshield in,it had a 1 inch gap across the top which just channeled the rain to come in on the passenger side which soaked my headliner and visor..they were supposed to come out to fix it on 01/09/2016 but never showed up or called. They called me on 01/11/2016 to set up an appointment on 01/12/2016 between 3pm and 5pm which they never showed up or called.Desired Settlement: I would like my money back so I can get it fixed correctly .

Review: Failure to correct a poor repair.

We had our windshield replaced by Golden State in June. At the first rain about three weeks ago, we found that the window leaks in four places. We have spoken with Golden State NUMEROUS times and they always say they will have someone call or come to our location to fix the repair, but no one ever comes or calls back. We were "scheduled" last friday again 9/20, an no one showed up. The voice mail at their business says their repairs are guaranteed. I went on Yelp and the only two reviews are people with the exact same problem - poor window installations and then no follow up by Golden State.Desired Settlement: At this time, I would rather get my money back and have someone else fix the problem.

Review: On 11/17/2014 "[redacted]" from First American Auto glass came out to replace my front windshield, in the process he cracked the "roof door molding"He stated he will get it fixed for me. I did write up a small contract that "[redacted]" signed stating he would fix it. I called the company on 11/20/2014 spoke with [redacted]. @ 11:50am and 2:14pm he stated he would be ordering the part and be giving me a call back. Never got a call back from him so I called again on 11/25/2014 @12:53pm he did not even remember who I was then he said he was still waiting on the part. I have tried to contact them several times and will not get a straight answer from anyone.Desired Settlement: All I want is for me to get my car fixed. The part is worth more than what I paid them. But at this point I would be ok with receiving a full refund.

Review: I have been overchaged for replacing front windshield on my vehicle and was promised a return that was never credited to my account.

On 11/16/13 in the morning, I called Golden State Auto Glass for windshield replacement on my 2009 Nissan Rogue and was told the windshield replacement was going to cost me $224.25 including all taxes/fees. I spoke to a male who told me he was going to call me back in the next 5 minutes to let me know if someone could come out the same day (that Saturday). I did not receive a call back till Monday morning and the male told me he can send someone out to me today at 2pm. I told him that was not a good time and needed later time. I then received a call from the service guy, [redacted], who arranged time to change my windshield. [redacted] came on time and changed my windshield. I told [redacted] I was going to write him a check for service and [redacted] called the main number (916-505-8747 - owner) to ask who the check should be made out to and was told by his boss that credit card payment would be better. [redacted] made an over the phone credit card trnasaction (while I was standing next to him) for $224.25. On 11/20/13 a transation posted to my account for $246.75. I called [redacted] and asked him about that payment situation. [redacted] was appologetic but told me that the owner is the man that processes the payments and he didn't know why I was overcharged for service. I then called the business and spoke to the male-owner who would not identify himself. He told me, they were going to credit my account for the difference they charged me but did not ask for my name and was trying to get me off the phone quick. I asked him how was he going to give me the refund if he doesn't know who I am. He then asked me what day and what vehicle was repaired and was going to match up the receipts. I told him his customer service skills were horrible and his business doing business the way they do should go out of business.Desired Settlement: I want the overcharged amount refunded back to me and someone should look into suspending the business license since there are MULTIPLE complaints about the company and the company practices.
