Once upon a time Sparkman Marble was a family owned business that was brilliant, run by the last of a long line of master craftsmen Today, however, expect your project to take two to three years, and be rife with flaws and eggregious mistakesIn my case, my projects took three years The first of the two projects entailed carving a death date and one line of text onto an already existing stone...one line of text Even that was done wrong; the carver did not leave the required space for a future death date This is an error that now cannot be fixed and is permanent In the second project, I wanted to move flat individual headstones to the foot of the graves and install a new family headstone for all three Although I was charged for doing that, the new headstone was installed at the foot of the graves, (whoever heard of a large family "footstone"?) The three old headstones remain uneven with the change in land over time and of course now hiddenDo not take your business here
