Golden State Educational Services Reviews (7)

Thank you, for informing me that the client rejected the response. The client did not pay for anyone else services the information I sent was for another client that was here on the same day she was scheduled to come and when the dispute came through they did not tell me who it was for and I submitted information for the client that was here at that time. However after I was informed that this dispute were from Ms [redacted] I gave the information that I had from Ms. [redacted] and the information she submitted on my website at the time of payment and the information. Ms. [redacted] states she didn't ask for a discount however it was implied when she stated she can attend another program for $125, so I offered her a discount of $50 off which was $150, now $150 was more than the other program and she still decided to accept the class and she asked for whatever reason to pay half now and half later which I called and confirmed before making the 2nd payment. No I did not know her whereabouts however I know she did attend the scheduled class or call in a timely fashion to cancel or reschedule a class. I had to text her and her response was I have to reschedule. I accepted that as she still had a interest and did not state to her by cancelling on the same day is considered a no show because she lead me to believe she was still interested in attending the class. The client reserved space that could have been scheduled for someone else therefore it would have suffer me a lost. Again my bank was willing to pay her if they found me at fault and they did not. I have offered her to schedule the class and if she knew of someone else looking to get into business.Ms. [redacted] as a business women and knowing how prepaid services work you have to cancel in a timely fashion to receive a refund and for service and time. This was not a security hold, this was a paid for class that you scheduled to attend if you were not able to attend you should have called and stated otherwise. The class was scheduled a month ahead of time and if things in your personal life changed it would have been the professional thing to do. Once you were contacted you still allure to the fact you wanted to attend this class. I do not accept this and I do not think my company should receive any negative report on your behalf.   that you had an interest in this program.

Thank you, for the information this client provided. The pre license class is A$200 and she asked for a discounted rate which I provided. The classes are pre paid online, she went online and registered, however she did not submit the payment so her registration was not complete. I called her and we...

had a conversation about the details of the class and what the class offered. The client stated that she wanted to take the class and she gave me the date she also informed me her husband was looking for a location and I gave her information for them to call regarding a dealer location. Online the class is $200 in order to give her a discounted rate and to take two payment I would have to take the partial payment over the phone she agreed and asked for me to processed the other have on the following Friday, I called her to confirm it was ok to process and she stated yes.  On the date of class I had not heard from her and it was close to the appointment time so I text her to confirm her attendance she text me and state no she would need to reschedule, I said no problem. Later she decided not to take the class. I informed her I do not refund for no show because she did not contact me and if she was still in San Diego she had no intentions of coming on her scheduled date had I not contacted her she would not have contacted me in a timely fashion to cancel. On my website. The class is still available or if she knows anyone else that can benefit from taking the dealer license class I will provide her with class information.Yes the client asked for a refund and my bank would have paid it if they thought I was a fault I provided them with all of the information and if they didn't pay her it was because she was at fault.

I am rejecting this response because:1. Although the company acknowledges sending the incorrect information, this information was used by my credit card company to rule against my dispute for the charges.  As such, the information was reviewed as services were rendered, thus they deemed the charges valid.  The website says classes are 1 to 4 people., and she states, "they did not tell me who it was for and I submitted information for the client that was here at that time." So what money did she lose? Also, I am an African American female, and the driver's license sent appears to be a Middle Eastern male. Her company made an error in sending the wrong information, but did not later inform the credit card company of this error. Could this be considered fraud? 2. For her information, I accepted the appointment at the higher rate because the schedule was more flexible than the other company, and I didn't think it prudent to get locked into a schedule in one city (Sacramento) while living in another (San Diego).3. If she did not state to me that cancelling on the same day is considered a no show, why does she get to use this as a defense after the fact? 4. Her bank was willing to pay if they found her at fault? She submitted erroneous information. Had she submitted accurate information, the ruling may have gone against her. And, when was her bank willing to pay? She submitted information to MY credit card company! Confused.5. Yes, at the time of the rescheduling I was still interested in the class. Although I had received an offer from Sac State after arriving in Sacramento, the number of hours and specific duties had not yet been determined, so I was still open to entrepreneurship. However, after negotiating my contract, I was satisfied with the results, thus moved to cancel the previous commitment to Golden State Educational Services.6. I did not complete OR submit the form on the website. As previously stated, I began to fill out the form, but left before making a total commitment. Shortly after, I received a call from the company making an offer; which I accepted. No terms for cancellation were discussed at that time, or ever.  Therefore, there is no signed agreement to adhere to the  "I agree to the terms & conditions of Golden State Educational Service. Scheduled classes are non refundable for no show, however we will reschedule you for another date within 30
days. . ." as stated on the website. Another point: "No Show does not mean ' cancel on the same day.' It means you did not show for the scheduled appointment and there was no communication to that fact. Company should define a term if they are using it for other than its common use.6. There was No agreement to terms; no meeting of the minds. Company should have directed me back to the website and not taken money over the phone. Terms cannot be made up when company does not follow their own procedures; I suppose they are there for this very reason. Company made a mistake, and they should pay - not me. I was rendered NO services. 7. I desire a full refund or a negative rating be issued for this company.

I am rejecting this response because:1. I did not request a discount, she offered one since I was hesitant to take the class and stated that I was considering another class that was $125.00. She offered $150.00. I asked if I could pay in 2 installments, one that day, the other a week later. At the time I was merely contemplating getting a dealer's license, but not not certain, as I was relocating from San Diego to Sacramento and was weighing employment vs. entrepreneurial ventures.2. Re: "Later she decided not to take the class. I informed her I do not refund for no show because she did not contact me and if she was still in San Diego she had no intentions of coming on her scheduled date. . ." She did text me at 8:00a.m. the morning of the scheduled class; scheduled for 9:30 or 10:00. I texted I would reschedule. She did not know my whereabouts at the time, so should not make a claim about me still being in San Diego and having no intentions of coming. I was in Sacramento at the time. 3. I am no longer interested in getting a dealer's license, and certainly not one from a company that provides NO service, yet expects to be paid IN FULL.4. Yes, I disputed the charge to my credit card company and the ruling was not in my favor. As evidence that she had provided the service, the driver's license of [redacted], [redacted], DOB [redacted], address: [redacted], Modesto (also written on paper 99 Oregano Way, Tracy) was provided. After contacting the credit card company to let them know they got it wrong, I was informed that maybe I had paid the fee for someone else and therefore the charge was valid. Then from me: Did I pay for someone else, attend the class, or was a no show? It cannot be all three. The manager then relented but I was told the decision was made by a third party and could not be reversed. She further suggested I contact Revdex.com to file a complaint and/or file a case in small claims. I am not doing recommendation #1. If it is not favorable, I will move onto recommendation #2. This company provided me NO service and should not be paid.I am unable to submit a copy of the CDL sent to the credit card company because there is no room to submit another document. Can provide under separate cover if requested.

In response to this information, after I realized I had sent another client information, I send Ms. [redacted] information which is the same information I sent to you. Ms. [redacted] applied on line but did not complete the payment information however the information she input had all of the information regarding our company policy. Ms [redacted] spoke to me on the telephone for a at least 20 min and we discussed the class we discuss information regarding locations and she was confident in attending the program. Ms [redacted] had my contact information to contact me in a reasonable time to cancel and she choose not to contact me by telephone email or by postal mail. Ms. [redacted] did not show or call before her scheduled time and when I text her on the same day of the class shortly before it began she then text me she could not attend and would reschedule Ms [redacted] decided to text me weeks after her schedule class to request for a refund I inform her I do not offer refunds for a NO SHOW which she was a NO SHOW she did not do provide me with time to make another appointment for another student. I offered to reschedule her or to give her a credit for some one else that may be interested Ms [redacted] had informed me she wanted to attend the class and her husband would also be apart of the business, however if things have change I understand but I can not offer her a refund because she did not follow my policy and she caused me a undue hardship by not cancelling before hand. I do not want to receive a negative rating for this instance I was not wrong we have a no refund policy in affect and Ms [redacted] decided to use my services and referral that I provided her during our telephone conversation. Ms. [redacted] applied online and then I completed the process for her and I gave her a discounted rate and I allowed her to make a partial payment I was more than fair with Ms. [redacted] and she has not been fair to me by trying to make  negative impact on my business. With all due respect I hope the Revdex.com can understand my concern as a Small Business and not allow this client to give me a negative report because she changed her mind and did not call to cancel however she agreed to reschedule for another day./ Thank you, With Respect, [redacted]

I am still working with this client to get their dealership up and running. The secretary of state rejected their business name and I had to resubmitted again. I did not go ignore their calls however I was on vacation last week. I have followed up with this client and informed her and her husband of...

the delay due to the sec of state not approving the name of the company.I have attached the documents from the Sectary of State office with the rejection.

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the consumer in reference to complaint ID .11882224, , and find that arbitration is necessary. Sincerely,[redacted]
