Golden State Inspections was contracted for a Home Inspection The inspection was very poorly conducted and Almost every defect or damage was neglected to be mentionedI've taken + pictures of the water damage, floating walls & electrical hazards and provided to the inspector with no return communication
I hired two home inspectors during my home search Both David and Craig were incredibly knowledgeable and patiently answered all of my questions during the inspection and after I'm very grateful and would absolutely use this service again!
Golden State Inspections, *** ***, came out to do a home inspection on a home we were looking to buy on 10/31/ As a client of Golden State Inspections,, we felt that our best interests were not served Key items were missed that would have impacted our decision to purchase the home These were items that would have been easily identified if Mr*** would have done the work that he claimed to do
1) Mr*** failed to ***tify two buckets with towels wrapped around the rafters This was due to a leaking roof Mr*** claimed he didn't see these during his original inspection due to his inability to get into the attic Mr *** did not make the effort to ask the homeowners, who were present for the inspection, to move items out of the closet to provide Mr*** with a clear entrance
2) Mr*** failed to ***tify a roof access hatch leading into the attic that was not secure, which contributed to the leaking roof
3) Mr*** failed to ***tify improper grad

Golden State Inspections conducted an inspection on our home before we listed it and thank goodness we didThey found issues that could have scared away buyers and we had no idea of these thingsA leak at the water heater, open electrical boxes in the attic along with a disconnected duct in the attic just wasting energyAfter receiving the report, we made the needed repairs and the home sold quickly with no surprises
