Excellent Products
I’ve only made two orders from GSM. First I only bought one coin in .999 silver. Was happy with what I received. So on the second order I ordered 4 coins in .999 silver. I will definitely be a continual customer of theirs.

Slow to respond with product!
I thought I would test this company prior to making any large purchases. It took them close to a month to get my product to me. Their excuse was, the demand was high so they were back logged. I understand being back logged, but I would just wondering how much interest they make off of telling a "lot of buyers" the same? Other suppliers must have the same issues but delivers in just a few days. The biggest joke was they gave me a piece of play money as a "Thank You". See pic. Anyone that buys Crypto should have their head examined; seriously. I would not purchase from them again. Look to Money Metals Exchange as they must have more than a handful of employees. I was going to right a positive review after speaking with the owner about a wire transfer refund. He agreed to refund the amount after the order being taken too long to be shipped. It has since been 3 weeks then and I have called in more than 4 times to politely remind them to refund me. It's been almost 3 months since I placed my order, still no product or refund.

When the customer called in we agreed to ship the product the same day, but the customer declined. The owner of the company then agreed to refund the customer and waive the normal cancelation fee which is defined in our terms. At this time the order was set to canceled and the task to refund was given to an employee who failed to get it done and let it slip through the cracks.

This is unacceptable and we apologize for the delay in an agreed-upon action. The owner of the company who spoke on the phone was unaware and believed that the actions agreed upon where being taken care of. Once he learned of this he made sure the refund was immediately submitted.

Please note, all orders for precious metals in the entire industry were weeks to months behind due to the extreme rush to buy up gold and silver at the beginning of the Covid19 epidemic coupled with a shortage of employees able to work and new hires on hold.

Several satisfactory orders including exclusive minted products. Transactions are straight forward. Shipping occurs rapidly after payment clears. Good order and shipment tracking. Product normally packaged well. Customer service is friendly and professional. Recent delay due to metal shortage was fully communicated and rectified as quickly as possible.

I have been a Golden State Mint customer for many years now. The staff have always been helpful and the owners, Jim and Andrew, are amazing people. I have always received my orders in a timely manner and packaged well. The quality they deliver is superb as well. Both the bullion and proof strikes are on par or better with some of the government mint's products. I know that 2020 has thrown the world into sudden "chaos", but in the midst of it, I know and trust that Golden State Mint will continue to always deliver my products as soon as it's possible.

I have multiple large Silver orders that I placed on the end of March 2020 and in Early April 2020 with The Golden State Mint. All total these orders are 1,130 Total Physical Silver Ounces in ten ounce Golden State Mint Bars. I understand they got slammed with orders for Physical Silver in March and April due to the COVID Crisis. They are behind schedule on getting these orders shipped out so I called the company last week, and they assured me these orders will be processed and shipped out as soon as possible. The lady I spoke to was very friendly and very pleasant to speak with. I am giving them time to get these orders out to me. I will do a follow up review once I receive all of my orders. I have Dealt with Golden State Mint before, and I bought some Silver Shield Coins. They have an excellent product, and I look forward to doing a follow up review with the Golden State Mint Soon.

Our family has had the opportunity to have multiple transactions with Golden State Mint and Mr. for over 9 years. When we are dealing with large or small transactions each is handled as if we are the only priority they have. The quality of their products continues to be superior. It is not often that you can, with confidence, refer family or business associates to a company and know for a certainty they will call to thank you for sending them to Golden State Mint.
Integrity is a word often used but seldom truthfully attributed, I am pleased to say it is the only standard they have in their dealings with the public. Mr. always says what he can do and always does what he said. We never have to be concerned about things being done properly and often exceeding our expectations.

Inability to deliver over $30K in purchases

In Mid March ordered over $30K in silver bullion from Golden State Mint. All products showed in stock. As of April 24, they have not shipped and stated that they recieved 100 times normal orders with the ability to only ship 2 times normal order. That calculates to a 50 month delivery backlog. I requesed a deliver date and was not given one.

Desired Outcome

I want my order shipped by Mid May 2020

After filing, received a call from the businesses owner who explained cause of shipping delays and now products have been shipped and on there way .
All issues corrected

Golden State Mint has to be the friendliest and best company that I have dealt with. I had placed a small order with them and had an unexpected special request and the gentleman said let me hear it. I told him and he said , I am going to take care of you. I had only placed a small order and he said that's ok , all of my clients are special and important. We need more businesses with this friendly attitude. Golden State Mint -- you just made my day. Thank you !!
