clearly statedAll payments are non refundable. [redacted] had called me on 2/**/2016 explaining to me she would no longer want to do the event at our event. I told her that all payments are nonrefundable. She was very adamant on getting her money back. I explained to you that this is a commitment you make make when you sign the receipt. We have blocked off that date for over 1 month. We have told potential customers that date is booked. And now you want to cancel? She continued to tell me if I could at least give her something back. I told her we can give her a one year credit with a date change fee of $1,000.00. She said she was not getting married any time in the near future. I told her I can give back $3,500.00 as a costumer loyalty. And that if she ever had an event she would be more than happy to host with us. Next day her finance came and picked up the check for $3,500.00.We are in the business to make customers not lose them. We tried our level best to help this customer. It was all settled on 2/**/2016. I do not understand why this is an issue now. We did not even need to give back the 3,500.00 or $5,000.00 in that case. We have signed receipt stating All payments are non refundable.

Review: In front of the restaurant was a valet service. Actually the valet service people were also seen inside of the restaurant drinking the beverages at the party that evening. When we pulled up, the valet man (Leo) took my car keys and parked the car. On the way back from parking, he hit a parked car on the right hand side with my car. My car was evaluated as a total-loss and the person’s whose car he hit (the bumper and light fell off). A police report was file.

• The restaurant denies that they hired the company to perform the valet that night and are uncooperative and rude with the claim.Desired Settlement: Please provide your insurance information so that my insurance company can be refunded for the damages to both vehicles.

I have read the complaint given by the complainant. On July [redacted] 2015 Golden Terrace Banquet Hall did not hire or pay for any Valet Service or Valet Company. If Valet was indeed hired it was hired directly by the Host of the Event. We have no contract for Valet service to be provided by our Venue on the date in question. Concerning the alleged accident, if there was an accident then the Police would have had to make a report and the information of the alleged driver should be on the police report. We have tried on many occasions to explain this to the complainant but she has refused to listen. We are very sorry to hear about this matter. If there is anything further we as the venue can help with we are happy to do so.
