It is hard to even explain my experience with this companyThe quote was professional and timely the work was the exact opposite When the crew showed up they had no stain, no ladders, no idea what color the deck was supposed to be, and no work order All of these should have been red flags but I let them proceed I was told I could leave for the day as I had appointmentsWhen I got home I was completely dismayedThey had only painted part of the staircase in hours of work and the work they did was horribleThick and overdone in some places, running smeared stain in other places They wrapped the spindles in tape instead of taking them off and all will have to be cleaned of tape residueIt was a messWe immediately called and asked for someone to come and look at the problemThey were completely unsympatheticWe were told it was our fault because I had been rude to their crew! I hadn't even said words to them before I left When someone finally did come the next day he hardly even looked at the problem and we were again told it was our fault! We ended up firing themWe did get a complete and fast refund of our deposit and $extra for having someone strip off their horrible workThe company we have now hired will have to fix their work and we will end up a with a look we didn't really want but nothing we can do Be very, very careful about hiring this company (And watch for their reply to this post when they blame me for being a disgruntled and difficult customer.)
