I have reviewed the response by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] .The business does not address that service charges and/or interest can not be charged unless there is an agreement in writing prior to any work being performedThis is stipulated in the Code of Virginia as detailed in our complaint.Selling of the tractor for purposes of collection (as alleged to be an option by the business) was not an option either as the business had no proof of ownership of the tractor belonging to usIn those cases, however, the sell must be of fair market value and the difference returned to the owner of the vehicle/item soldIn this case the tractor appraises at $ 18,We had such an appraisal done on Dec27, (yes, the appraisal was done while the tractor was incarcerated at the business location) The business comments of their longevity in businessWell, it's no doubt one can stay in business for a prolong period of time when extortion is a principle method of raising fundsA review of this business on the web reveals not a single (not one) good comment or posting on the blogsThis includes the Revdex.com web site in addition to other blogs and postings Regards, [redacted] ***

We received the same communication via e-mail directly from the consumerWe have been in business since Our policy on all repair work is payment in full upon completion or good charge account with prior approval which this consumer did not havePosted sign states that equipment left for
thirty days after completion can be sold to pay the repair billHowever this was not done, we tried to communicate with Mr*** on several occasions to work out an agreement for paymentThe repair bill was discussed and agreed on with Mr*** before the work was completedThe charge for the use of credit card was levied due to the fact that we had financed Mr***'s repair bill for almost months and we are charged a fee for the use of credit cardHad Mr*** paid off the repair bill in the first thirty days with a credit card the fee would not have been chargedThis policy is posted as well beside our cash registerIt has been our policy for many years to purchase our own parts due to the fact that we cannot warranty parts purchased elsewhere. This was discussed with Mr***Our understanding was that we were to proceed with ordering the parts from our supplier

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

Thanks for your information #1 I do not want down grade this person at all. His coments are not all true are complete, [redacted] is the father and only knew about this issue after I called him. [redacted] his son told us the wrong type of front axle. Also this part was no longer from manfu and was not...
