Review: I have been a patron of Golden Unicorn since 2002.

In the last few years they have made a few mistakes in overcharging for dishes, but today it was so flagrant that I was driven to complain to the Revdex.com.

Dim sum works on a dish size tier system. Small, medium, large, Xtra large, and special order.

Special order is when the dish isn't available and they make it for you upon request.

I ordered 7 dishes, each with 2-4 dumplings, and one vegetable, all off the carts that were circulating (no special orders). These are usually medium dishes, however, I was charged for 3 Special orders, 3 Xtra large plates, and seven dollars for the vegetable (also a small to medium plate).

The bill was twice what it should have been. When I asked, the woman at check out said "I don't know; ask you waiter." Of course the trick is, there is no waiter! There are only circulating carts. They said I must not have remembered what I ordered.

This is a flagrant, upsetting abuse made possible by a conjured language barrier that does not really exist. It must be stopped.

I saved my receipts and took pictures of the dim sum card that tells you what plates were ordered.Desired Settlement: I would like an explanation of charges and a refund. 2 Hao Gao are not an Extra Large plate. 4 Shumai on a circulating cart are not a special order. If I am not satisfied, I will report them to the police and the IRS.

I have all the pictures to prove my claims of their malfeasance. I will have satisfaction. I have been systematically robbed of $40, as have thousands of others. They should be ashamed.
