It took almost Month to "finish" the job that were promised to end in two weeks, and it isn't finished yet, still there is a leak from the upper deck, neither extension to the bathrooms vent were fixed as suggested by the expert

I am a resident of a Condo Complex in the southside. Golden West was doing re-roofing at that time. By the way, on June 29, 2016, Thursday afternoon, simply put, my whole unit was exposed to the heavy rain for more than two hours without roof. It was when they took out the old roof and started re-roofing that the rain started to fall. Anyone could tell the rain would fall soon because the sky began to become dark and the thunder started to roar from about an hour ago. I thought they would take some action to prevent leakage, but they didn’t, just kept on roofing. They don’t expect what anybody can expect.
My whole unit was damaged by water leakage; every edge where ceiling and wall meet, every corner where wall and wall meet, swollen drywall, discoloration, cracks on ceiling and walls, dents on walls, melted paints, spoiled carpet, etc.
Cory Gardner, Owner of Golden West, sent an e-mail on July 18, 2016, at 10:16 am, and said, “I don't know how and or why you think this will take a year to fix. It is a simple 1 day process. The work to replace your insulation will likely start and finish the next day.” By the way, the 1 day process hasn’t even started yet, and the water-soaked insulation is still on the roof.
He came to my unit to assess damages on July 19, 2016 at 11:00 am. I didn't expect his apology on behalf of his company, but instead I was treated like a swindler or a lunatic. He wouldn't listen to me. He took several pictures for a few minutes, and then left as if he fled without any mention about the damages. Only what he said was, "These are previous damages." They were just trying to evade their responsibility.
So, I concluded it is useless to ask Golden West to repair the damages, and am now struggling against my management company to fix the problem. In conclusion, when you make a contract with Golden West, do not count on their craftsmanship, but count on your own luck. If you are lucky, it will be OK. But, if you are not, you will be in big trouble. I was unlucky because the weather didn’t help.
