Response:This complaint we have received is strictly based on assumption and accusation on [redacted] behalf who I was told by [redacted] "homeowner" that he is the party that filed this complaintOver the years GOLDEY'S has completed hvac work for [redacted] on several of his flips but only when he is in a pinch and can't get the lowest bidder to show up as we do not settle for less when we complete a project therefore we are not always the low bid but we can always get it doneAfter [redacted] completion we looked at another flip he has underway and he was given the correct way to do it price to which he responded "He did not care because once they are sold it is not his problem." That job was then contracted to a guy who I was told started the job and was arrested and spending some time in jailSo [redacted] asked us to complete the work again with no hard feelings to which the response was sure it's only business and we are used to coming in a time pinch or behind his low bidders when they don't show or finishThis again comes at a price to do the job correctly to which his response was again he didn't want to do it the way we saw fitIt was at this point [redacted] was told we weren't interested in working with him anymoreThe agreement on the [redacted] job was to be paid in full once the house had sold so we have not received payment in full and I believe this is the reason for this complaintI will add that I did not know [redacted] who is a repeat client of GOLDEY'S was the actual owner of [redacted] until I personally was at his house on 12/30/servicing his personal home's hvac and he asked if I had been doing any work with [redacted] To which I responded we had done work at [redacted] and that we would not be working for him anymore on our own accordHe informed me that [redacted] was actually his house(News to me) I asked him if they got the gas leak fixed to which his response was [redacted] is dealing with that." I told him to let me know if he needed me to look at the other unit as it has a year labor warranty and hadn't heard from him until the Revdex.com complaint that he informed me Ed Burk actually filed and he would talk to him about everything you are reading hereI have not heard back from MR Breunderman and he won't return phone callsSo now let's talk about the complaintGOLDEY'S was contracted for 2ND FLOOR work at Bunker Hill which we completedIf you read this complaint it is about a system for the 1ST FLOOR which consists of a year old air conditioner a to year old low efficiency furnace and a to year old Honeywell thermostat like you would buy at Lowe'sThese thermostats are known as a homeowner thermostat in our industry and are about $GOLDEY'S does not deal in this model thermostatI know about this 1st floor system because [redacted] had me quote replacing this system in 8/I received a call from [redacted] in 12/that he got a high gas bill and thought he had a gas leak to which my response was: We did not do any gas work at the property the 2nd floor is all electric and reminded him that we are not interested in doing work for him anymoreFurthermore I told him he should contact a plumber about that as they are the trade that generally deals with gasIn 1/I was contacted by [redacted] and told that he hired another hvac company (Prudential) whom he told me in the past his best friend works there to find his problem and they found that the 1ST floor thermostat was "programmed" to be a heat pump system and this was his problemHe says they spent minutes "reprogramming" the old 1ST floor thermostat and now is blaming us for thatAgain we did not do anything to his 1ST floor thermostat programming and if it is still the model that I remember seeing I'm not even sure that what he is accusing us of "reprogramming to be a heat pump" is even possible or that it would affect his bills the way he saysFurthermore this would insinuate we went back to the property and broke in to "sabotage" his 1ST thermostat which should go without saying WE DID NOT AND WOULD NOT DOI have been in this industy years and built a business by word of mouth and a good reputation I believe the stats should speak for themselves [redacted] Guess this means we are not getting paid and will need to look into filing our first construction lien on a project ever unfortunately only really affecting [redacted] and GOLDEY'S not [redacted] ***I will close in saying when I last spoke to [redacted] I asked him to provide the invoice he is basing all of this on which he has not, I gave him the chance to make this right to which his response was "He will just keep writing bad reports on us" for something we did not do [redacted] Sent on: 2/8/1:37:PM
