Enclosed are our accounting for the job and invoices and progress reports. The lines on the job cost spreadsheet indicate where one progress report stops and another starts. If you need reciepts, I can provide you copies. There have been 5 progress reports and invoices. The 1st totaled $5,520.00 and...

$5,000.00 was paid. The 2nd totaled $6,535.55 and $10,000.00 was paid. The third totaled $21,796.53. At that point the customer requested we break down the invoice by task for submittal to a trust fund. The breakdown then totaled $13,850.00 and that amount was paid. More work was done and materials and subs paid generating the 4th and 5th progress reports and invoices. The hard job cost sheet shows that we have $6,908.65 of our own monies in this job. I ([redacted]) apologize for the phone call made. My frustrations of having money in this job came out badly and for that I am sorry. [redacted] did not know of me making the call until after the fact. Brashears Construction, Inc has been in business for 26 years. This is the first ever complaint made against us. We run an average of a million gross sales per year. We try to be as transparent as we can on our invoices and progress reports. Our billing is $35/hr and $45/hr. for labor from our employees and materials and subs at cost plus 20%. When we were not being paid, we directed our subs to bill our customer directly so they could get paid and us not charge the customer 20%. The project began with the understanding that our client was purchasing the flagstone directly from the quarry. The flagstone did not get delivered to the job site for 2 1/2 months. It then proceeded to rain for a month. More flagstone was needed to complete the job and another delay occurred. [redacted] texted our client June 22nd and inquired about how to proceed to finish. No response was made. If you need anymore information please let us know. Sincerely, [redacted] and [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:sure wish I could send this voicemail from [redacted] as an attachment. Who would ever hire a company that threatens, harasses and cusses out a client :she said:  "You owe a [redacted] ton of a money",  " I am putting a lien on your house" "got that [redacted]" ----    nice customer service. I do not have a contract with this job. How would you put a lien on my home?First, [redacted] was very well aware that his wife and accountant, [redacted], made the phone call on Friday night. I asked him about it a few days later and he said "yes, I am aware, and I told her not to do it" So - that is a lie.  And this is the accountant for the construction company.  This project delay is not because of the rock. It would be great to be able to blame it on a subcontractor - but that is not the case. Yes it rained. However, once the rock came no one could find [redacted]. He does not return phone calls, texts , or emails. Every subcontractor had something negative to say about this project. I have had to work with all of the subs to get this job complete - and by the way it is far from it. This company has way too much jobs for its size. I have spoken with several other former clients [redacted] has had, one that quickly fired him right after he was hired. I am very displeased and upset about the way this job has been handled. I will not let go of this complaint -and hope Revdex.com posts this so no other single white female is discriminated against. If  I were a male, this would not have happened.
Regards,
[redacted]

2 August 2015Revdex.com Corporate Office1005 La Posada DriveAustin, Texas 78752RE: Complaint [redacted] Dear [redacted],We reject this rebuttal. Again I apologize for making the phone call to client. Again [redacted] did not know about it until after the fact.Enclosed is the original estimate given to client, a letter from client indicating lack of funds but not disputing work being done and testimonials from many past clients on our company.[redacted] texted client on Monday July 13, 2015 at 3:52 pm to schedule cleaning up the job site and client responded "Thank you but I do not need any of that done". We do not discriminate for any reason and it did not matter if client was male or female. It appears client wants more than client can afford.Sincerely,[redacted] and [redacted]
