I was in the process of bringing him to small claims court but I have since relocated & sold my home. I have ample evidence including pictures, text messages, contract showing monies taken and that Mr. Goldrick never completed the job.

We paid for material like paint to do our cellar and landscaping stones he told us he would do the job that was last year. His son has been sick is daughter has been sick now this do not believe him. Please don't let anyone else get hurt by him I still want my material which he said he bought last year. I am not sure who was sick last year but I don't care.

Complaint[redacted] acknowledged damaging our heating oil supply line & promised to refund repair cost to us. His chimney repair also failed. Contracted with Goldrick & Son Masonry on [redacted] to stucco & seal both exterior chimney & interior basement wall, replace cast iron clean out doors behind oil boiler in basement and construct cement apron against rear exterior basement wall to ameliorate occasional water leakage into our basement. Chimney stucco & apron completed in late November 2014. Goldrick used and ruined my gardening wheelbarrow and a bluestone stepping stone from flower bed WITHOUT ASKING At this time. [redacted] XX-XX XXXX interior basement wall was stucco & sealed plus cast iron replacement doors into chimney completed.began smelling heating oil 2 days later & discovered oil supply line had been cracked by Goldrick when he was working behind oil boiler. Pool of oil on cement basement floor. Hard rain on [redacted] resulted in water leaking into same corner.called Lorden oil company. Entire supply line had to be replaced from tank to boiler. Called Goldrick [redacted] & he volunteered to pay for repairs & acknowledging he caused problems. over course of winter observed & photographed chucks of stucco popping off all over chimney exterior. Invited [redacted] to house on [redacted] expecting check for promised repair cost. Presented him with copy of lorden bill. Claimed he couldn't pay that day but promised check would be mailed (in pre-address & stamped envelope) on [redacted] check received as of [redacted] or calls returned. Another mason opined that exterior stucco was not mixed or combined properly resulting in large areas of it falling off. I asked [redacted] with my husband present to also pay back [redacted] for this. We have written 3 checks totaling [redacted] which [redacted] has cashed. We expect him to reimburse us [redacted] for the oil line damage and stucco chimney failure. We have not asked for cost of wheelbarrow replacement (he mixed cement in it & it is still coated with it) nor cost for replacing bluestone pavers (he used it to make the form for the cement apron without asking).Desired SettlementWe would like to be paid [redacted] by [redacted]. [redacted] for cost of oil supply line replacement on [redacted] by Lorden Oil INVOICE # [redacted] (customer # XXXXXX) PLUS [redacted] for the poor stucco job to exterior chimney. [redacted] verbally agreed to this refund on [redacted] & was handed copies of Lorden bill plus itemized list of checks cashed by him.
