CHANGE THE MUSIC
The Gym & Personnel are great --- my one BIG Complaint is their MUSIC. NO ONE LIKES IT.
The Music they play is degrading & NEGATIVE - NOT HEALTHY. It pervades the whole atmosphere of the place :(
It is an insult to the like of Cole Porter, Billie Holiday, James Brown, Diana Ross, Ertha Kitt & ALL REAL MUSICIANS in our History.
TURN IT OFF.

I am not sure where the disconnect was in this process. I will be sure to have the membership removed from collections and the amount that is past due cleared.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.My problem initially started when I went into the Golds Gym branch in downtown Milwaukee and spoke with a Golds Gym employee named [redacted] about combining my account and my cousin's account. [redacted]  replied that this could be done and a price and plan were agreed to by my cousin, [redacted] and I. [redacted] did not follow through with his agreement with us, so I made a final payment and asked him to cancel my account. He agreed to cancel my account but did not follow through which led to me accruing charges that I will not pay. I later found out through my bank that someone is trying to take out an automatic withdrawl. I found out that it was Golds Gym so I immediately put a block on my account. I then contacted Golds Gym and kept getting the run around. I spoke to [redacted] who claimed to be the manager. He was very rude and was of no help, I later found out that [redacted] was the actual manager and explained to him the situation. He stated that he would look into the issue and contact me but did not do so. I contacted the branch again and left a message for him to contact me but still have not heard back from him. I would like this problem resolved as soon as possible. I will never recommend anyone to this gym after my horrible experience.  My balance with them at this point was 0.00 with my last payment to them. all the charges that they are trying to accrue me with now are from after my final payment and cancellation, as stated above. So nothing was ever done about me asking them to cancel my account in person at the gym.  I will not make any payments to them.  The money that they are looking for from me is not owed to them. Golds Gym did not cancel my contract as agreed to by them, so they will not receive anything more from me.

Hello,I believe this is a case of miscommunication. The account did not seem to get cancelled because we do not have a cancellation form on file for him. In order to rectify the account we will cancel the account and waive out any payments owed. There will be no refund to the account since no...

I had my debit card set up to do automatic payments. well, twice in the last year my card was compromised so I got a new one. I don't use the gym that often so I had no idea my bill was behind both times this happened. why? because they use an outside billing company that operates like a collection agency. so...if your card is declined, they don't call or email you directly, they have this spammy company call you a zillion times from an 800 number and IF they leave a message, it does not state what the call is regarding. however, they have my CURRENT card info and was told my balance was paid, in person, in december. I went in last month to cancel my membership, and was also told that my account was fine. imagine my surprise when I recieve a letter in the mail from a LAW FIRM regarding my past due bill. the one that I attempted to pay IN PERSON in december. when I called them today to complain, the assistant manager, [redacted], apparently didn't like that I was upset, started talking over me, and then hung up on me.

As I have stated previously, we do not show any record of your cancellations. The first contact we had from you was in July. At that time your account was past due and we do not cancel accounts that are past due. Since that time we have cancelled your membership and waived any amount that was past due.
