Gold's Gym Redmond

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: I never signed a contract with this business. I was on a month to month basis. Plus included in these charges are forty dollars a month for child care for which my children never attended and I most certainly never signed a contract for that. They still have my ninety plus dollar deposit. When I went in and placed my account on hold in February 2015 there was never any mention of needing to submit anything in writing.  Sincerely,[redacted]

The information you have provided about the toxic floor materials encourages the honest accurate description of what has occurred to my body from attending your gym with little to no fresh air circulation sustained for the following month after the floors were resurfaced.The information you have provided repeatedly states as follows:#6 Accidental Release Measures-Ensure adequate ventilation - this was not maintained as I asked repeatedly about the vapors.Avoid breathing dust/fume/gas/mist/vapors/spray. Vapors can accumulate in low areas. #10 Conditions to Avoid - DO NOT allow vapor to accumulate in low or confined areas. #11 - Chronic Exposure (considered running 10 miles 5 times a week in this confined environment) reports have associated repeated and prolonged exposure to some of the chemicals in this product with PERMANENT brain, liver, kidney, and nervous system damage. Intentional misuse by deliberate concentration and inhalation of vapors may be harmful or fatal. It is negligent as a company providing services to individuals that will be chronically exposed to this material to not disclose this information before the floors were resurfaced. I would have cancelled my membership right then and there if I knew I was going to be breathing this in for the next 2 months. I reasearch everything that I do to my body before I do it and all of the articles I pull up say that The Physiologicalmodeling of inhalationkinetics of octamethylcyclotetrasiloxane�...⇄ has a negative effect on human health and wellbeing.

This is in response to the claims made by [redacted] (Primary) - [redacted] regarding her Exposure to Formaldehyde at the Gold's Gym she attended in Redmond.

hardwood company that has been working with us for over 10 years. This is only in the basketball court and workout classroom which are completely closed during the process so there is little to no exposure and definitely no formaldehyde present whatsoever.
There were no harmful chemicals present in the pool at ANY time and we are consistently and routinely inspected by the health department. We are also in complete Compliance with OSHA. 
We are sorry this member had a negative experience at Gold's Gym but there is no proof of toxic chemicals present, we have been open for several years and have never received any claims like this in the past. No refund will be given . This issue was closed last year on our end.
We are happy to provide additional detail as needed.

We attempted to reach [redacted] on many occasions regarding her past due balance of her membership. She failed to cancel her account in writing as stated on her contract, and never paid what was owed, so unfortunately due to no response from her for almost a year we had to place her account in...

professional collections. We do not waive past due balances for non use, as the gym is open and available to use 24 hours a day. I will be happy to provide the contractual agreement and any supporting Documents, only upon request. The account remains in collections and will do so until a resolution is reached between the member and the Collection Agency. This account is currently listed as a refusal to pay.
 
This is a valid debt and active efforts to collect will continue.
