After further review of this account we are unable to find record of a previous cancelation. We have however cancelled this account immediately with no further billing and waived the cancelation fees.
To Whom it may concern: We have reached out to the member and they have been cancelled and refunded/credited for the last month and contacted today. We have had a management change and are getting up to date with any past due customer service issue.
I am responding back to case number [redacted]. Mr. [redacted] is requesting a refund in the amount of $[redacted].**. He emailed me on 02/11 stating that he would like to cancel his membership, so I processed his membership with the intent of a 30 day notice, because that is what our agreement...
states. Our agreement also states that in order to cancel your membership, you must come to the club Monday-Friday and fill out a cancellation form, or you can send a certified letter to the club stating you would like to cancel your membership. He was charged on 02/20 for $**, which is our annual fee, and again on 03/01 for $*.**, which are his monthly dues. Both of those invoices fell in the 30 day notice from the time I received his email. Just for any inconvenience that the cancellation process caused him, I refunded him a total amount of $**.** back to the card on file for the two invoices that we charged him that fell in the 30 day notice. He also stated in his email that he has been trying to cancel for 6 months? I sent him an email on 03/19 stating what our cancellation policy entailed and the proper procedures to go about cancelling. I also stated that he would be receiving a refund for the $** transaction on 02/20 and $*.** for the transaction on 03/01 just for any inconvenience our cancellation policy might have caused him. I have not heard from Mr. [redacted], nor has he replied to the email I sent him on 03/19.
