Overcharged for neutering of dog.Picked up dog after neutering. Had dog, pocketbook, & meds in my arms and it was end of day (about 5-6 p.m.) I noticed overcharge and asked about it. Receptionist said she could fix it right then or I could just wait and use overpayment next time I came in. At the time, I really thought I might be using them again and as it was inconvenient right at that moment, I agreed to use later. After realizing the charges were way more than other local vets, I changed vets for future animal appointments. I wrote a letter April 10, 2014 and asked for refund. I followed up with a phone call. I received a voice mail saying check was in mail. I made two or three more calls. Now, it is just silliness. They keep saying they will get back to me, to no avail. I give up. This week, one of the dogs I had fixed last year went into heat, I think so I may have to have her fixed again. I noted this in my call to [redacted] today. She sort of blew it off. So now, I cannot get a refund and my female may be able to get pregnant again even though I paid for a spay. I am disheartened. I have used this vet since 2001. I know I am old and grouchy but I have tried to be nice, until the last 2 calls when I became grouchy...no cursing or ugly words, just disgust at the lack of respect. I am more sad than mad. $35 will not kill me but having to have female redone will create a hardship. I do not want to cause trouble, I just want someone to address these issues. It is after 2 and I have heard nothing. This was told to me before, exactly same thing. Desired SettlementI would like to have refund of the $35 or so, they overcharged. If my female needs respaying, I am scared to take to them again so would like the spaying charges refunded - only if I have to have redone. And I would like to be respected and not lied to. It was like magic..for this, I am grateful. I have since visited the Vet Office with my female dog and was told she has a UTI and was not in heat. Although I don't agree, they gave her medicine to help heal her. They were very nice, professional and very aware I was the one that had contacted Revdex.com. I have loved this particular Vet Office for years. I am sad to say I am parting ways and will be taking my ten dogs to another local Vet. Their prices are double on some shots and their prices are a lot higher than many other Vets in this same area. I do want to say they treated me well on this last visit.
