Review: The problem is that [redacted], who works at [redacted] did not return the Chase certified check for $2,500. He was stepping into the place of [redacted] to help me find a new apartment.. When he found an apartment for me, he instructed me to bring him two (2) certified checks. One was addressed to [redacted] (the place where the apartment was in [redacted]) for $2,100 and to [redacted] / [redacted] for $2,500. I did not get the apartment because [redacted] changed their minds about giving me residency. Instead of my two (2) certified checks being returned, I had to keep emailing and calling [redacted] at Goldstar to see why it was taking so long. A month later I finally got the [redacted] certified check back, and [redacted] told me he was keeping the other as his consultant fee. He used that as an excuse because he diid not want to return the check and I did not hire or ask him to be a consultant. He was suppose to help find me an apartment and he did no such thing.Desired Settlement: I still have not received my other certified check back for services unfulfilled.
