Golf Cars of Hernando

I have used Golf Cars of Hernando several times in the past and have spent several hundred dollars on repairs. Last month I had a short in my wiring after I had repainted my golf cart and was re-installing the dash. Some of the wires were burned. I replaced the main hot wire to the headlight switch and everything worked, headlights, horn and radio. When I tried to drive, it would not go. I called Golf Cars of Hernando on a Friday bf to pick up the cart for repairs and was told by the owner that he would call me the next week to tell me what repairs were needed. He did not call so I finally called the following Friday and was told that he was on vacation. After two weeks I called and inquired as to why they had not called and the owner told me, "I said I would call you when I knew what repairs the cart needed". I said that it had been two weeks and I had heard nothing. He told me that he was busy and did not call me because he had not looked at it yet. I asked if I should come and get it and he replied "If that's what you want come get it". I asked if he had any idea when he was going to look at it and he said probably next week. He called the next week and said that he had the cart running and asked if I wanted to repair the wiring. I said yes. He said he would have it done and delivered the next Monday afternoon. The cart was delivered the next Tuesday afternoon and when I got it back, it was filthy dirty, (When they picked it up for repairs, it had just been re-painted and rubbed out and polished). I was charged over $600 including a $75.00 pick-up and deliver fee which I had never been charged before. When I went to check out the repairs I was shocked to see the poor workmanship. My Horn did not work, my turn signals did not work, my radio did not work and my headlights were very dim because they had hooked them up to one 8 volt battery. All of the wires to the accessories had been clipped off. When I talked to the owner about the service his reply was "I didn't do the work myself". About the additional $75.00 delivery charge he replied "I didn't do the invoice". I told him when I spend $37.50 for an oil change at the car dealership, they wash my car and when I spend over $600.00 to repair a golf cart I should expect the same. He said nothing. Two of my friends and I have been working for two afternoons making the Proper repairs and I will never go to Golf Cars of Hernando again.","neg-1
