Over two years I have financed my car with Hyundai. I moved a year ago and immediately called to change address and all related information both on the web and through their representative. I recently refinance with another company and due refund from HMFUSA. However, I have been trying to get my refund back since last month but their representative keep telling me how it takes 10-14 days for process to go through. Call back after the first 14 days, a story developed that check was sent to the previous address. Ok! Why? the second person on the contract did not authorize the address change. Right! change made> Another 14 days, still the same story even with evidence of calls made to them and email they themselves has exchange with the department (according representative Yajaira) still, the check was sent to the old residential address. I ask to be transferred to the department that handle the check issuance and I was told - "No, we can't do that, sir. We do not have direct contact with this department except by email." This is silly, how can one department not have access to the other within the same company? Again, this is their way of frustrating me to give up on a thousand+ refund that I should have automatically be refunded without my request. It's going two months now and, I don't know when I will finally got my check because, another email is sent today and will take another 10-14 days to process. I even email them last week with my complain but no response or an attempt to call about. This folks are fraud in disguise. Should I missed one payment all that 2+ years, trusted me they would have come for a repo. People, be careful this company and please know your right and don't give up when frustrated.
