In Dec 2019, I had a new fence installed by a company. Since the install, there have been two issues (1) the back section of my backyard back yard had not drained properly for 45+ days leaving standing water. (2) while the fence was being installed, I was out of town, he failed to put in an entrance door on one side.

When I returned home on New Years Eve, I called him regarding the missing door, he claims to have misunderstood me during our initial convo, but assured me he would be out to install it after the new year.

Jan 2020, I called to see when he will be out to install the door, he stated he sprained/broke a knee/leg and would let me know when he's cleared by the doctor, so I waited........

I called him on Monday 2/17to report the door and poor drainage, he denied responsibility for the draining issue.

On 2/18, Roto-Rooter was called out. They diagnosed the issue with verified pics that I had concrete in my lines. When I asked how that could have happened, he stated more than likely, it was your fence builder. NOTE: I've lived here for 6 years and NEVER Has there been a drainage issue until the new fence

2/19. I had a french drain company quote the job, he too attributed the issue to the fence builder.

on 2/21, I had a new drain installed, things seem to be flowing better, we will see.

This fence company was referred to me by my brother in law. He installed his fence along with his friends and inlaws. I saw his work, had him quote, he showed me his insurance (I failed to make copies / take pic .

Total our of pocket expense for Roto-Rooter and new drain: $2200

Now he's gone dark, please assist me.
