his move would make the final decision when they arrive. If they saw it would be too heavy for two movers, another mover would have to be called out.  It was also expressed in his confirmation email.  [redacted]'s furniture filled a 26ft box truck and had twice as much than he stated when his appointment was scheduled. He moved from a two house to a two story house. There was also a 40 mile drive through Houston traffic from one house to the other. When [redacted] and I discussed his bill before he sent the final payment, [redacted] said the guys worked hard and only stopped twice to take a quick break. He said the breaks were only long enough for the movers to catch their breath. At anytime, [redacted] could have stopped the movers at the number of hours he had set for his budget.  If the movers work, they must get paid. It is not fair to have anyone work for free. [redacted] knew his budget. He should have been upfront and let us know exactly what he had budgeted for our services. We respect all client's budgets. The request has to be upfront but we cannot do any adjustments after the work is done. He is responsible for the service he used.As far as damages, you signed off on the contract as to no damages.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.
I did not have a single item over what was discussed when receiving my quote. The movers spent so much time loading as a result of them smoking and talking on the phone the majority of the time while my children loaded half the items onto the truck. They spent 45 mins unloading which makes the 6 hour load time even more ridiculous. They damaged my house and lot pieces of my furniture. The remaining pieces were thrown into a huge pile in my living room. If it was a matter of paying for extra hours there would be no problem. The problem is because they purposely added hours to the job by spending all their time smoking and talking on the phone. While I understand that it takes less time to unload the truck, 45 mins vs 6 hours doesn't even make sense if they were truly working the entire loading time.
Regards,
